Hi, this is Dean Graziosi, and welcome to this week's Vlog. I'm here with my son Brody, sitting in the courtyard of our house. And I wanted to have Brody in this shot today because he just reminded me of something. You can't see it, but right around here, we have his little bike, and he's got a little tricycle that he rides sometimes, and his feet fall off, and he falls off the back of it. But he's trying. He's little. And one thing it reminded me about being little is that life hasn't beaten you up yet. You know what? When he falls off his tricycle or it doesn't go right, you know what he does? He gets right back up and tries again. And that's what we don't do as we get older. Sometimes we try real estate for a week. We try a new concept. We try to find a buyer, or we find a deal, and we don't have a seller. I mean, we don't have anybody that wants to purchase. And we go, oh, real estate doesn't work. What if you thought back to the first time you rode your bike without training wheels on it and you fell and got dirty? You just didn't get up and say, hey, no more. I'm never riding a bike again. It just doesn't work. No, you got up and you tried again because you're a little like this guy. You were innocent, and life didn't tell you you couldn't do something. What if you went at real estate like a child, with just that childlike innocence of saying, you know what? This is going to work. There's no question about, I'm going to eventually ride a bike, and you're going to eventually make money with real estate if you keep trying. So think back to the things that were tough for you at one point in your life, whether you were Brody's age. At 2, you were 4, 6, 12, 15, maybe the first time you went on a date, it was horrible. But maybe you're married now to the perfect person. Everything in life, when you don't know it is hard when you start. But once you get the process, once you start getting a system, once you do your first deal, then your fifth deal, then your 10th deal, then it all becomes a part of who you are. And wouldn't you love to be a person that didn't worry about the bills anymore, didn't worry about if Social Security is going to explode? Don't worry about the couple hundred dollars that if your health insurance goes up because you could make thousands a month in real estate. I know people that have literally been clipping coupons since the recession. They've been not going to Starbucks when they love Starbucks coffee to save a few dollars a month. You know what? That's great. Save money. But think of the hundreds you may be saving a month by clipping coupons and not doing things you like compared to the thousands you can make with real estate. I had to take a quick cut there and let Brody go inside. He was a little hungry, wanted to go see Mom. But hey, what I wanted to say today is go at real estate with childhood enthusiasm, knowing that you're going to do it no matter what. I know. Savings. Great. You put a few bucks in your pocket. But think of the thousands you could make if you just take action. I'm Dean Grazioc. I'll talk to you next week.
