Weekly Video Blog #19 - Who Are The Top 3 In Your Life and How Do They Affect You?

Dean Graziosi’s weekly video blog encourages viewers to evaluate the influence of their closest relationships. Using an anecdote about a friend and a WGN interview reference, he assigns viewers to list the three people they spend the most time with, track those people’s conversational themes for one week, and then use the results to seek more positive, growth-minded influences while managing negative conversations with family.

Hi, this is Dean Graziosi. Welcome back to the weekly blog. Hopefully you got a chance to see the video should be below or it's in the blog someplace. I got to do a WGN national interview. It turned out really cool. I enjoyed doing it. It was live. I was a little scared at first thinking, you know, live tv, but I think it came out really great. And I think we're going to help a whole bunch of people by advising them if they're in the midst of possibly losing their home or really upside down in their home. Okay, today, what I want to talk about, I'm sitting in the studio here. One of my best friends, probably my best friend since fourth grade, Ricky Akamoudi, really great friend of mine, is in the studio and today I just said to him, what's your biggest obstacle of making money in your life, Ricky? And he said, the thing that we talk about so much on this blog is other people's negativity. Every time he comes up with an idea or thought. He has so many people in his life that tell him it won't work or it can't work because they're kind of stuck in a rut. And like I always say, if you're in a ditch, it's a lot easier to pull somebody back in the ditch than watching them climb out or try to climb out with them. And I think that's what so much of us face, especially in today's world when the news is bad and billion dollar, billion and trillion dollar bailouts and the country's in trouble and is the president doing the right thing? We can focus on what's wrong, but remember the power of the people around you can put you in a rut or get you out. So here's what I want you to do. Here is your weekly assignment. I want you to write down the three people you hang around with the most. And then what I want you to do without them knowing, do don't change anything about you. For the next week. I want you to write down what they talk about on a regular basis. I want you to talk about something positive. Tell me you want to make money, you want a better relationship, you're going to seek some self help. You're reading my stuff. You're on dean graziosi.com, see what kind of answers you get and see how much of their conversation is about a bigger future and a better tomorrow or how much is how things are bad and how yesterday might have been better, but tomorrow is going to be worse. And at the End of the week, I want you to evaluate the three closest people to you on the conversations that come out of their mouth. Because the fact of the matter is, you're somewhere in the middle. If the person all the way to right is wonderful, focusing on a bigger future and encourages you and tells you you can do it, but the person all the way to the left is telling you you can't do anything, this country stinks, the president stinks, the taxes stink, and our life is doomed. Unfortunately, you're somewhere in the middle, and you have to start recognizing that, and you have to start moving towards the people in your life that can inspire. And if you don't have any, then spend your time on Dean graziosi dot com. Start thinking about what you want out of life. And the more positive things that come out of your mouth, the more you focus about a bigger future. I promise you with all my heart, you will attract the right kind of people to inspire you. Now, one last thing. You might be saying, well, it's my father and my husband or my father and my wife that are the most negative. Well, don't eliminate them out of your life. Just make sure your conversations don't go down the wrong path. And you start seeking out new people to spend time with you who encourage you, who. Who inspire you and let you be all that you can be. Because every single one of us has greatness inside of you. You know, if I can do it, there's nobody watching this right now that can't. So that's your assignment for the week. First, analyze the people around you and then figure out the best path to separate yourself from all the negativity and search out some people that can inspire you. I'll talk to you next week.
