Hey, this is Dean. Welcome back to the weekly blog. If you're watching this on a Monday, at this very moment, I'm doing a VIP brainstorm with a whole bunch of students. And the weekend, this weekend coming up, I'm filming this early this weekend. Coming up is our first live event. So I'm shooting this blog a little early. If you're coming to the event, then this will be after the fact. And congratulations. We'll get some footage up of the event. It's going to be a wonderful, wonderful event. But hey, here's what I want to talk about today, which is really, really, really, really important. This Saturday, this past Saturday, I had some incredibly smart people come to my house and we spent the whole day brainstorming. And I have to tell you the topic. I'd be lying to you if I didn't tell you exactly what we talked about. Our topic of conversation was results. How can I help my students have bigger results? That's the truth of the matter, folks. I brought in some of the top thinkers in the country. We sat around all day outside by my pool. It was a really nice day. And all we talked about is how we can get you to engage more. How can I help you change your life? And in so many instances, we talked that we have all the wisdom, we have all the capabilities, we have all the direction and guidance that you need. But sometimes we just need to keep you engaged in taking action and being a part or showing up for your own success. When all these things around us are pushing us away from our own success. How do I help carve you out of that? Help change your life? But one of the things I want to talk about, what we talked about there was really understanding why you want to make money in real estate. And here's how you do that. And we did this on a deep level, but I'm going to give you a quick little insight on how you can do it. I want you to write on a piece of paper why it's important for you. Not the universe, not your spouse, not your lover, your friend, your relatives. Why is it important for you to. To make money in real estate? And then I want you to write down one through seven, one being at the bottom. And I want you to write down the first gut reaction that comes up in the number one space on the bottom. Why do you want to make money with real estate? Well, why is it important for you to make money in real estate? You could say, I want financial freedom. Okay, but why is financial freedom important to you? Now, I'M going a little fast, but I want you to really think of this. All we're going to do is really drill down to why you picked up the phone, or you're about to pick up the phone and get my book in your hands and want to make money in real estate. Because when you define why you really want it, the inside really deep on why you want to change your life, nothing can stop you. So if you think about it, maybe you write down financial freedom, but why do you want financial freedom? Well, maybe you said you want to spend more time with your family. Maybe you want to quit your job. Maybe you want security in the future. Whatever that is, write that down, then let it resonate for a second, and then go to the next lineup. You know, you wrote down number one, number two, the third one. Ask yourself the same question. And you're going to ask yourself the same question seven times. I want my family to be secure. Well, why do you want your family secure? Maybe the next line up is because I grew up without security, and I think that's important. Well, then the next line is, why is it important for you to have security when you didn't have it? And you just go on and on. And let me just tell you, after you answer the same question seven times on why that's important to you, when you get to the top three, you're going to find the true reason why you picked up the book and why you want to make money in real estate. I was blown away because I literally did this exercise on why I wanted to get more results out of my students. And I went deeper and deeper and deeper with the question. And when I found out why I want to do it on the deepest level possible, there's no way I could give up. Never give up on these blogs. Never give up on our monthly calls. Never give up on our newsletter. Never give up on finding true wisdom to help you succeed. When you find your true reason on why you want to make money. So many times people say, I want to be a millionaire. You don't want to be a millionaire for the sake of money. You want to be a millionaire possibly for the things it brings you. Spending more time with your family, giving your children the chance you never had, letting your wife stop working, your husband stop working so hard and killing themselves. Stop stressing about the bills. Have conversations with your spouse about your future, about love, about your children, not just about the checkbook. That's why we want money. You find that true reason why you want to be successful in real estate? You write down those three top reasons and you look at them on a daily basis. Nothing will stop you. You provide the action, I'll provide the wisdom. I'll see you next week.
