Dean Graziosi delivers a short, heartfelt Weekly Video Blog message dedicated to Mother’s Day. He recounts growing up with a single mother who worked two jobs (making about $90/week) after his parents split when he was three, describes living in a trailer park, and expresses deep appreciation for all mothers—especially single moms and his own mother (Paula) and sister (Jonelle). He also reflects on being a father of two and calls parenthood his highest personal achievement.

Hi, this is Dean Graziosi, and welcome back to the weekly blog. Guys, I'm sorry, you can watch this one, but this is for the moms. Moms are really important in my life. Hey, I just wanted to say happy Mother's Day. You know, moms are. My mom was a single mom. And it doesn't matter if you're a single mom or you're married, when you have children, moms are just the most special thing on the planet. Now that I have two children, I see what my wife goes through to be an amazing mom, and she has the support of me. And we're financially stuck. We have a nice house and we have help, and I still see how much work it is to be an amazing mom. But I grew up in a house where my parents split when I was three, and my mom was a single mom working two jobs to make about 90 bucks a week. We lived in a trailer park. The whole story you've probably heard. But my mom did it because she's a mom, and that's what moms do. And I never realized how hard she worked and what she did to make sure me and my sister really didn't know we were poor. We didn't know that we didn't have two parents. We didn't know any different. And she did her absolute best. Was she perfect? Probably not. But it's okay. She did her absolute best. She raised two amazing children. My sister's wonderful. Who's a mom? So happy Mother's Day, Mom. Happy Mother's Day, Paula. Happy Mother's Day, Jonelle. And happy Mother's Day to every single mom on this site and also the moms that are out there jumping in and digging in, sometimes without the support of your husband, without the support of your family, or maybe if you don't have a man in your life, but you have children that you want to take care of and help bring to another level or. Or share a whole new life or a whole new world with. I know so many of you that are doing it. I read all your emails. I read the posts that you do@demangraziosi.com and I just want to say I'm proud of every single one of you. I know how hard it is to be a mom, but it's the most rewarding thing on the planet, isn't it? You know, I'm speaking on the other side. Speaking of a dad. I've accomplished a great deal of things in my life, and I love that I've come for nothing, come from nothing, and done some pretty incredible things. I love that I get to talk to you guys every week and have New York Times best selling books and do real estate deals and meet famous people, but there's nothing, nothing, nothing even close. And second place, that is better in my life than being a dad. And I know you moms have a bigger bond than us dads because you got to carry that bundle of joy around. So I just want to. This was specifically for you moms. Happy Mother's Day. I'll talk to you next week.
