Dean Graziosi's weekly video blog (April 3, 2013). Standing outside in Arizona (he notes it's 110°F), Dean teases a forthcoming special offering and urges viewers not to miss upcoming videos/emails. The main content advises a goal-setting exercise: imagine looking back one year to define what would make it 'the best year of my life,' write specific goals, record why each goal matters, and explicitly note what life would be like if those goals are not reached. He frames current market conditions as an opportunity—citing another wave of foreclosures—and encourages action in real estate, offering support and a potential vacation incentive for taking action.

Hi, this is Dean Graziosi and welcome to this week's blog. I'm standing here outside my house. It's 110 degrees down here in Arizona. But you know what? It's worth it. Most of the year is beautiful when it's cold. Other places. Okay, here's my message for today. Like I said last week, I have something really incredible coming. In fact, you're not going to want to miss any videos, any emails I send you because we have something spectacular. You know, it's hot outside. We got something hot coming. That was kind of cheesy, I know, but it's. It really is. It's something I've never done before. So stay tuned especially. I'm going to give you a little hint, especially if you'd love an amazing vacation for taking action. That's all I'm going to say. Okay, here's what I want to talk about today. So many times people will write down goals and they'll have these big astronomical goals that they don't hit and they discourage themselves. Here's what I'd like you to do this week. I'd love you to write down some goals, but I want you to do two extra things. First of all, I want you, instead of looking forward to that goal, I want you to pretend it's a year from now and you're looking back what had to happen in that year for you to say, this was the best year of my life. That's how you find true goals. And for a year from now, you say, I have no more bills, I'm debt free, I live in a better house or I'm not working in that job. I'm not fighting with my spouse about the money anymore or my kids have security to go to any college they want. I don't care what it is. I want you to look forward a year from now, looking back and say, I've had a perfect year because all this happened. I did my first three deals, my first five deals. I'm bird dogging like Carol Stinson. I'm doing lease options like Greg Murphy. I'm buying and holding, generating tens of thousands of dollars a year in rental income like Matt Larson and so many other students. I want you to do that. So once you have those goals, I want you to do two extra things. I want you to write down why it's important that goal happens. And secondly, and most importantly, what will your life be like if you don't reach those goals? See, sometimes we want to look at the big picture. What's better. But we forget if we stay right where we are, are you still going to be in pain? Are you still going to be stressing? Are you still going to be worried? I don't want that for you especially. Now is the greatest time. Listen, I just read an article how there's a whole nother wave of foreclosures coming. Now I'm sorry if you're going through foreclosure. I'm sorry for all the people that are going in foreclosure, but we didn't cause that and it's going to happen. But that means there's another year or two of amazing opportunity for you to make money in real estate. And if you're going through foreclosure and bankruptcy, it stinks. Then get out there and make money on the one next door. This is the time to prosper and I'm going to do everything in my power to get you out there taking action. I'm Dean Graziosi. Thanks for watching and don't miss a video or an email from me over the next couple of weeks. I'll talk to you soon.
