Hey, everybody, it's Dean Graziosi. Welcome back to this week's blog. Hey. I loved all the entries that you sent in on what I want, what we should call the weekly blog. And I appreciate all the wonderful comments. This is why I do this every week. This is why you inspire me to be here and make sure it's a fresh new blog that you get that can take your life to the next level to help you on your journey from where you are to where you want to go. What I think we're going to call it, and a couple of you said it, is we're going to call it the Weekly Wisdom. That's the name of the blog. We're going to call the weekly blog Weekly Wisdom. I liked all the entries. In fact, there's so many, I could have picked 100 different ones. I kind of still like my mindset Mondays, but some days we do put it out on some days we do put it out on Sundays. So that's what we're going to call it. Thanks, everybody for the feedback. It was awesome. Okay, today I want to share something with you that I think is really special. I was looking through some videos that I did recently for my new book. I have a brand new book. It's called 30 Days to Real Estate Cash. A lot of you received it. If you bought the rock bottom blueprint, I sent it to you as a gift. If you got just the edge Home study course, I sent it to you as a gift as well. And it's one of the smallest books I ever created, but one of the strongest books anyway. In the book, I have a section on setting goals like I do in a lot of my books. And I did a video on how to set goals really quick within just minutes that can transform your life. It's probably the best couple of minutes of footage, one of the best I've ever done, really. So what I want to do is I want to play that footage because I just saw it. I want to play that for you and realize, let you see, get you an inside access of what people, you know who got the book. When they get to a certain page, I say, hey, stop. Now go set your goals. This is what I taught them. I thought it's powerful. In fact, the book is literally not in bookstores yet. We just got it from the printer. If you'd like to get my new book, and this isn't a big push, you know, I'm very transparent. I'm probably going to do a big push for my book later on, it's going to go on tv, going to go in bookstores. But if you want to get the book, I'll have my team put a link below. Get it. I think it's just $19.95. It's peanuts. It's an amazing book. But right now, watch this section I did on goals. And if you want to get a copy, get the book. I'll talk to you next week. Hey, everybody, it's Dean. And you know, if you've watched me through the years or got my book totally fulfilled, or be a real estate millionaire, profit from real estate. Right now, your town, your real estate profits. And now you have 30 days to real estate cash. You've probably seen me say it over and over about setting goals and how important they are. And I probably teach it in a variety of ways, but fundamentally, as long as I can get you to set a goal that means something that you actually achieve, that's all that really matters. And if you've set goals for years and use someone else's strategy on how to do it or figure out your own, congratulations. But I'm going to do a real quick session here on the whiteboard, I mean, really fast on how to set goals that I think stick deeper than just saying, hey, I want some extra money. Hey, I want financial freedom. I want to give you a little technique that I think has worked for me for years, and I hope it works for you. First of all, you want to set your goals, right? So let me just make that a little darker. What are your goals? Well, first of all, let me tell you, with goals, try to be more specific than just saying financial freedom. You know, what does that really mean to you? The more specific you can get, the better. Is there a certain amount of money that can allow you to walk away from a job you hate? Is there a certain amount of money that can allow you to spend time with your family so you know you're with your kids before they get out of school, or maybe your kids are already out of school and there's a certain amount of money you need in your retirement to feel good, to spend time with your grandchildren. I don't know what it is, but I know the more specific you can get with goals, the better they turn out. So let's just say you want to make 5,000amonth. Okay? You want to make. That's your first goal, 5,000amonth. You want to. Let's get rid of money here. You want to spend three hours a day with fam. So that's different than Saying I want financial freedom and I want more time with my family. This is, I want $5,000 a month and I want to spend three hours a day with my fam. Excuse my writing. I'm just going to go really quick here. So with that, think of what's this mean to you? Right? What are your goals? So once you write the goals, here's what I want you to do. I want you to write down why. Why are they important to you? Right? And you could do it alongside of it here. You could just put the Y right alongside of it. But here, because of my sloppy writing and going fast, the why is, why do you want 5,000amonth? Don't just say it. But the why is because I want to quit a job I hate. Because I want to stop worrying about the bills. Because I want to stop fighting my wife about the credit card debt. What is the why? So write down the reason. Why equals X for you. Y equals X. So again, goals and then the Y. Here's the third one, the emotion. Emotion. What's the emotion you're going to feel once that goal is achieved? How are you going to feel once you have $5,000 a month? You know why? Because you want to get out of that job or whatever it is. But how am I going to feel? Are you going to feel confident, secure, at peace? And look, I can get chills like I have goosebumps. I don't know if you can see that right now because I can literally put myself in a place of how I will feel after I achieve my goals. I have my own set. I have my own reasons why, and I know the emotions I feel once I'll accomplish them. You need to do the same thing. Goals aren't just, hey, I want that. It's got to be a specific thing. You got to know why you want it, and you need to know how you're going to feel once you achieve it. Lastly, this is a really important one. What if I don't reach it? Here's what I want you to think about the last piece of this. What are you going to feel like and what's going to happen in your life if you don't achieve the goal? What if you don't reach it? What if you don't make that $5,000 a month? Well, you're going to continue on pain and stress and worry, not seeing your family or working for a boss that you hate or a job you hate. What if I don't get to spend three hours with my family? Well, I'm not going to see my kids grow up. I'm going to have a horrible relationship with my wife. I'm not going to see my grandchildren. Feel the pain if you don't reach it. You do these things, and I give you my word, you're that much closer to achieving everything you want in life. Set a goal. Find the reason why. What's the emotion once you accomplish it? And what if you don't reach it? That's the lesson for today. Do it. Do it right now.
