Hey, everybody, it's Dean Graziosi. Welcome to this week's blog. Excuse me. I just went for a run, just got back. And that really made me think about you guys and something I shared on. I was on stage a couple days ago in Vegas talking to a great bunch of people. If you were there, great meeting you. Last week, I did a small, intimate, inner circle brainstorm with just about 15 of our students, me and Matt Larson. I don't do those anymore. I've done only a handful. I may do one or two in the future, but it's just hard fitting it all in. But it really. I talked about this in both instances and it really resonated with people, and I want it to resonate with you because it's something going on in my personal life right now. And I brought this up in the past. A lot of times, maybe once a year, I'll hit on something that's important. And it's understanding that in order to have a breakthrough in life, most of the times we have to break something. And what do I mean by that? So a couple of months ago, I realized my daughter's going to be five, my son's going to be three, And I love to work. I love what I do. In fact, I Everybody asks me, what are my hobbies, what do I love to do? And the truth is, I don't have a lot of hobbies because I think a lot of times in life, and there's no disrespect, a lot of times we'll have a hobby to escape, a job we don't like, or a boss we don't like, or our work that just brings us down every day. So a hobby is a great escape. Go golf, you know, watch the football games on Sunday, you know, whatever it is. I think I have less hobbies because I love what I do every single day of my life. I love being an educator, I love real estate. But that leads. To have a breakthrough, you got to break something. What I realized with a three year old and a five year old, my kids are growing up really fast and I'm missing too much stuff. I'm missing ballet, I'm missing my son doing certain things, and I'm missing taking him to soccer on Saturdays because I choose to work and I'm not doing that anymore. I also realized that for the last year, I didn't work out. I neglected myself, I didn't eat right. So it just hit me like a smack in the face, maybe a punch in the face. It hit me like a Punch in the face. I'm like, so I'm not taking care of myself means I'm not going to live a long time or as long as I probably could to see my kids and my grandchildren and I'm neglecting them. And just two months ago I said, that's it. I'm going to work hard on my real estate, my education, but I got to start saying no more. So as I was saying no more and getting up in the mornings and going to exercise and hanging out with the kids rather than going right to work, I have to tell you, work started building up. It started piling up like you guys right now. And I'm trying to share how this is similar. You guys trying to fit real estate in your life could seem like it's impossible because you got all this stuff. But when it started piling up, I started realizing so many of the things that really didn't benefit my kids, my health or my future or my students. And if it didn't fit in there, or my family or the universe, if it didn't fit in there, like when we were doing the time schedule, I've been throwing it out and I've been destroying things, I've been breaking things so I could have a breakthrough. And I have. I have to tell you, I'm spending more time with my family. I'm exercising for the first time in ages and I'm loving it. So it made me think a lot about you because I know my strategies work. Guys, we have more successful students coming in weekly right now than I've ever had in the history of doing this, in my 22 years of investing, my 14 years of teaching other people how to do things, right now they're coming in stronger than ever. So I know for a fact what we're teaching works and works right now better than ever. Except for the fact I can't. I don't know what you have to break in your life in order to fit the time in, to concentrate, to focus. Don't dabble in real estate anymore. Stop dabbling. Because in five years from now, you're either going to look back and go, oh my God, I listened to that fast talking guy on TV and then through these crazy blogs and I did it and my life's changed. Or in five years you're going to look back and go, nothing's changed in my life. I missed that window of opportunity and now what? I don't want that to be you. So if I'm sharing my personal stories, understanding that you got to break something to have a breakthrough. Find the time, throw out the things that aren't working and take action. And let's make a difference. I'm Dean Graziosi. I'll be here for you next week.
