Hey everybody, this is Dean Graziosi and welcome to this week's blog. It's really nice to have you here. You know what? That's so not me and that shouldn't be you. You know, so many times in life we let outside factors make us or have us strip us of our confidence. So you're trying to do something new and maybe someone in your family says, you don't know real estate. Are you crazy? Your friend tells you that, your co worker tells you that. Or you feel like you have to have so much education to speak intelligently when you don't believe me. I am not the smartest guy in the world. I barely got out of high school. What I always had though was a ton of energy and passion, even when I wasn't super educated. So if I did a blog every week and was like, hey guys, really glad to have you back. Today on this weekly wisdom we're going to be talking about the methods to make more money in real estate. You guys would watch one week and you'd never be back. So you, if you walk up to somebody to do business with, don't walk up with your head down. Enthusiasm can cover all kinds of mistakes. Let me tell you. I've been doing it for years. Okay? Let me just tell you, my vibrance, my energy, my will to accomplish anything in life has allowed me to overcome that. I'm not a good speller. I don't have a great vocabulary. You never hear me using big outrageous words. I don't know most of them nor do I care. In fact, when I'm around so called real estate investor pros and they start throwing out these big terms and abbreviations, a lot of times I still don't know what the heck they're talking about. And I'm not kidding you, but none of them did 300 deals in the last couple months. I have. So here's what I want to tell you. Gain your confidence. So let me just give you a quick example. And I shared this with some of the rock bottom blueprint people recently on a call I had inner circle brainstorm. That was amazing. And Matt shared this one thing. So. So if you've ever gone to an auction to find buyers and I think this is something everybody should do, every single person watching this in the next 30 days, go to a foreclosure auction, right? So so many people I talked to, even some of the people that were at this inner circle and at an event I was recently at in Vegas, I talked to them. They said I went to an auction, but I was intimidated to talk to people. And then when I walked up, I didn't know what to say, and I didn't get the right. I get it. This is new to you. It's different. It's like you're training my daughter right now. I just took the training wheels off my daughter's bike, and it's awesome. And she's scared, but she's doing it. She got, like, 20ft. I'm literally running alongside her so she can't fall. But it made me think about. It's so scary to her, but soon she's going to be riding her bike all over. And it's the same thing here. You got your training wheels on. You just got to get them off. Right? So everybody was telling me they were walking up to people at the auction and going, hey, you know, you bought that property. What if I could get you some other. No, no, no. Practice on your spouse, practice on a friend. Go to a real estate auction. And this is something Matt Larson shared with me, and I think it's amazing. It's the icebreaker. Watch somebody who buys a piece of property and when they're done, walk up to them and say, hey, I just wanted to say congratulations on an amazing deal you got on that property. Now, what did that do? That was about them, not about you. You didn't ask them. You didn't have to. Act like a professional. What are you doing? You're building rapport with enthusiasm. Okay. Hey, wanted to let you know I saw that deal you got an. Now, is it an amazing deal? Of course it is to that person. They just spent a bunch of money and they paid what, cash for it? They research it. That's the one they wanted. You say that to somebody, they go, oh, yeah, thanks. I've been watching it for ages. Glad I got it. Awesome. There'll probably be some other rapport. Then the next thing you say is, hey, I have a knack for finding. I have a knack and a marketing strategy of finding deals better than anyone on the planet. Better than you can even get at an auction like this. Hey, if I find a deal like the one you just got but better, can I send you the information? That's it. Compliment them, build rapport. Let them know your strategy and get their information. If they say, well, what is this marketing strategy? Say? Truthfully, I can't share. It's my unique ability. It's my proprietary information. But I'm telling you, I can find you better deals than you can find on your own. Would you like me to send them to you? That's the kind of thing I'm talking about. I don't care if you've been shy your whole life. If you're insecure because this is new to you, find the confidence. Fake it till you make it. Puff your chest out because you can do this. I promise you. You're smarter than me. My enthusiasm, my energy covers a lot of the things that I'm weak at. Literally, if I ever sent you an email and there was no such thing as spell check, you would laugh at me so much, it'd be unbelievable. You would laugh at the fact that when I'm around super intelligent people that are much more educated than me, they use certain words and they think just because I'm successful and I make money that I understand what the heck they're talking about. I don't. But I fake it with a smile. Enthusiasm. It could take you so far. It could take you past the point of fear and allow you to accomplish what you need to accomplish. So here's what my goal for you is this month, even though I'll be back next week with a blog, is find some confidence that you didn't even think you had. Go to an auction, make a phone call, talk to somebody. But do it with enthusiasm like you've been doing it for years. And remember, if you're enthusiastic and you're energetic and you're not sure what to say next, you know what you do. Ask a question. And open these up. They'll tell you everything that they want to hear. That's my message for today. Hope you're doing awesome. Have an amazing week, and I'll talk to you soon.
