Weekly Wisdom #162 - After Christmas Santa

Dean Graziosi delivers a holiday message (Christmas/holidays) describing recent charitable activities and encouraging viewers to help people in need. He recounts working with a St. Vincent de Paul church in Arizona to ‘adopt’ families (paying bills, buying uniforms, repairing a roof, food/gift certificates) and says he became inspired to do more. He announces a call-to-action to help 50 more people by sending each a $200 gift certificate; asks viewers to nominate people (500 words or less) via the link below, and to spread the word. The message closes with holiday wishes and an upbeat note about the coming year.

Hey, everybody, it's Dean Graziosi. And I wanted to send you this really special message and say merry Christmas. And for those of you who don't celebrate Christmas, maybe Happy Hanukkah or just Happy Holidays, but this is a time of year we really do appreciate and look around at what we should be grateful for. I talked about my Thanksgiving, how sometimes your head can get off. I get that. And some of you are going through some really tough times, but let's just be grateful for where we are. Be grateful for what you have. And I just want, again, I just want to say Merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart. And here's what I'd like to do. This blog is going to be a little different than my last year Christmas message. Let me just tell you what's going on in my life right before Christmas. I give away money all through the year. We donate a lot. I don't come on here and tell everybody all the things I do. That's just not why I do it. I work hard. I hope to change your life and leave a positive message. And thousands of people all around the country. I hope to inspire my family, my co workers, friends. But we also like to help people. And this year, towards the end of the year, we did a lot. I said, let's do more. And here in Arizona, there's a Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul. So we called them and said, hey, do you have any families in need? I'm sure they, of course they did, but send us some families in need and how they call it is you adopt the family. So we helped them out for Christmas. We gave people some just a couple hundred dollars. We paid their water bills so they get their water back on. Some we paid electric bills. Some we bought uniforms for kids at school because a house burned down. We fixed a roof for somebody. You know, we did all these different food gift certificates, all that kind of stuff, and it was so awesome. But it really, you know what, we all should really do that every year because it was so good for my family to see that, you know, we're blessed and there's so many people that are so much worse off. And it's our obligation to do well for ourselves. Like in my recent videos, do good for ourselves so we can help those people around us. Okay, let me tell you why I'm telling you this. Because I got addicted to it. We helped all these families and they were so appreciative. It made me feel so good, made my family feel so good. So I had an idea. Here's the idea. It's after Christmas, but there's a lot of people really hurting. And you may know some, maybe you are yourself. You're watching this right now. And I'm talking about people that are having a tough time eating this time of year. Not that they can't get the fancy gift. They can't get any gifts at all. So I want to do a little more before the end of the year. So here's what I'm going to ask of you guys to do. I would like you to, if you know somebody who's really hurting right now, I mean, barely having food needs a hand up. Nothing big. But here's what I want to do. I want to help 50 more people and I want to send them a $200. I'll have Megan, my assistant, get a gift certificate or something worth like $200 in cash. And I want you to click the link below. If you know somebody that's in your church, a family member or a neighbor that's just having a really tough time this holiday, click the link below. In a short 500 words or less, just tell us what's going on. My staff and I will figure out, you know, we'll get a lot more than 50, but we'll pick 50 and we'll send them a gift card for $200 to hopefully help them through the holidays. You know, it. You know, there's no agenda here other than it felt really good helping the families we did. We've done a lot this year when it comes to charity, but there's still room for a little bit more. So why don't we dig in and why don't we do that? And you, why don't you leave me a message below? Maybe whatever is inspiring you, inspire others. It doesn't have to be a message just to me. Inspire others. Also, do me a favor. Spread the word. Tell everybody in your email list, click the like button on Facebook. Tell everybody in your email list, email them. Tell them to watch these blogs every week. I really know that we are changing a generation of people. I love all the comments we get. And I really think we're starting to get a hold. I really think our little Dean Graziosi.com is making a difference in the world. And I couldn't do it without you guys. So why don't we make even a bigger difference? Click the link below. If you need help, it's okay. Don't be embarrassed. It's okay. We've all been there. I was there when I was younger.
