Weekly Wisdom #175 - Help Dean Pick Who to Partner With...

Hey everybody. Welcome to the Weekly Wisdom. I'm Dean Graziosi. If you're looking for a better future, a bigger future, and using real estate and positive mindset focus and being able to overcome those obstacles to have next year better than last year, this is the greatest place on the planet you can land okay. For everybody else, last couple weeks have been pretty cool. Comparing a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset. Let me just tell you, I hope you acknowledge sometimes that we fall over to the scarcity side. Some of you might be living in the scarcity side and that's not your fault. And it doesn't mean that you can't be super successful. What it means is you have to start looking in a different direction than you're used to. Because all I know is living in a scarcity mindset, it not only holds you back from making the money you want, it holds you back from being happy. From feeling fulfilled to feeling okay. Even when everybody else is a little scared. Because of the scarcity mindset. Because I said this before and I'll say it again, money won't make you have an abundance mindset. So many people think, once I have money, once the economy changes, once there's a different president or a different Congress, or we're not in a recession anymore, then I'll feel better, I won't have a scarcity mind, Then I'll feel abundance. No, that's not how it works. Start practicing an abundance mindset, focusing on bigger and better things, focusing on your future, focusing on where you could go, focusing on anything you can possibly think of as possible. And money, happiness, joy follows the abundance mindset. Once you know that, it's the easiest thing in the world. And I'll go deeper on switching over and making sure you don't fall back into that side. But today I have something else I want to talk about. It's pretty special. Every year we run a contest called the Send Me Away Dean Contest. Now what that is is we started this five or six years ago and it's basically you, our students, who are out there having their lives changed using our success Academy, my books, my live events, my rock bottom blueprint, whatever piece of education, you've used this site to change your life. If you send us in proof on the things that you've done, property deals, making money change of life. And if we document that, we send you out a flip camera and you film yourself. Well, we take all those videos every year and we narrow them down. Actually, my internal office narrows them down and we pick five or seven of them. I think we picked seven this year. And then we let you vote on the winner. What story you think is the most inspiring? What video do you feel a person has changed the most, has made an impact on their life, or you just like watching them? Whatever it is, you get to vote, and that person gets to go on an amazing vacation, compliments of me, and gets to be my partner. Let me tell you real quick how it started. I did it five or six years ago, our first year when flip cameras came out, real easy just to film yourself. Ran the contest. Matt Larson was year one winner. Whole bunch of people sent in videos, and we picked Matt. He won. I went to dinner with him because he was going to go away for a week. He was telling me how great he was doing, and I said, you know what? Why don't we partner on a deal? Use my money, your effort, why don't we do it? Okay, that was probably 400 deals ago. I did that with Matt. How cool is that? So every year we run this contest. Now that you send in your video, you don't have to buy anything from us. If your life changed. From this website, you send in a video, how your life changed, we narrow it down and we let you vote. Well, this is the exciting time. If you haven't done it yet, you didn't hear about it. I'll put the link below of the Send Me Away Dean contest. It's an old website. We need to update it, but it'll give you the idea of it. If you have never entered, it's okay. You can enter for 2012. Well, right now we have narrowed down all the videos that came in. We've narrowed it down to seven for the 2011 who's going to win the Send Me Away Dean contest? Get to go on vacation on me and be my partner. And guess who decides? You do. That's right. So there's a link below that's going to bring you to all seven of the finalists. Now, here's what I want to tell you. If you're not one of the finalists and you sent in your video, I'm so sorry. There was so many amazing videos that I literally. I was only one vote. I let the whole staff vote. The seven that were chosen were chosen randomly by our entire staff. We watched all of them and loved Every bit of it. But now it's your turn. And remember, if you didn't get chosen in the final seven this year, enter again next year. If you didn't know about this contest, get ready and enter again next year. Okay? But now I need you to take this week and watch all the videos and vote on the one you think is your favorite because it's going to change somebody's life big time. They get to be my partner. And I love it. I love adding a new partner every year this way. So it's pretty cool. So that's where we are right now is below. If you want to enter in the future, understand it.
