And I do read every post that is ever putting underneath this video. Okay, first of all, don't make fun of the fedora. I just got off a plane, I was in Cabo, just landed from Mexico and wanted to get this video done for you guys so it would be here for you. So I want to tell you, I always share what's going on in my life. I'm pretty transparent. Well, thanks for so many of you for finding me on Instagram, checking out my pictures. I try to put at least a picture a day up, so it's been pretty cool watching you guys follow that. And if you're not, if you want to follow me on Instagram, just go get the Instagram app and then look for my name. But here's what I want to talk about today. I had a really great realization while I was away. So I went to Cabo with some of my partners. They do it every year. They take me. This is going to sound like I'm bragging. You never hear me talk like this. But they pick me up on a private plane, fly down to Cabo, stay in this amazing 10,000 square foot house overlooking the ocean, and just for three days, we have a partner meeting and strategize and talk about where my company's going, where theirs are going, things that we do together. Amazing, amazing people. Some of my favorite people in the world I just got to spend the last three days with and I'm blessed to have them in my life and I love helping them and they love to help me and blah, blah, blah. Now that's amazing. I never thought as a broke kid living in a trailer park, I'd never even see a place like that. Or fly on a private plane. That's all great and we can all aspire to those things. But I have to tell you, these guys are avid golfers and I'm not that big of a golfer. And plus, they went whale watching one day, so I'm not a big Golfer. And I get motion sick like crazy. I mean, the last time I went on a boat, I took my family out on a boat. We were out for a half hour. I literally started yakking over the side up so uncontrollably that I couldn't even tell the captain to go back. I was just going like this. That's all I could do is motion my hands if, you know, motion sick. Feels like right now you're nodding your head, going, oh, I get it. If you don't, you just think it's in our head. That's the big thing about motion sick. People that don't have it think the other people are crazy. But anyway, that's a whole other story. Anyway, while they golfed obsessively, and when they went on whale watching, I didn't. I stayed back at the house, which is unbelievable. It's like being at a resort. And I had a lot of time just to be with me. The Internet connection wasn't great. My phone wasn't working great. So I had time with me. And I realized something that I just wanted to share with you. This is a really simple message. Today, you're here. You're watching me. You want to make money with real estate. And we talk about it for your true reason why. We talk about the people in your life, like the oxygen mask, who you want to put oxygen masks on. Who are the people you want to help retire your parents, help your kids, whatever you want to do. Take care of your church. But I realized something. What? Deep down, what we're hoping to do, and that's what I had to do this weekend, is we want to work and get to a spot where money isn't a part of our worry. Because money and our future and taking care of the people we love can devour so much of our energy, so much of who we are, that we're fighting to get this money. And we should be. Every single one of you should be. I did. So many of you have already found it. Keep finding, keep digging. I. But I think there's one byproduct that I really didn't realize until sitting in that house for, like, six hours straight by myself and being okay with it is we want to get money out of the way so we can work on truly who we are. I'm 44 years old, and I'm just discovering a deeper level of me than I ever thought existed, because I've been in the game trying to. You know, being a broke kid living in a trailer park and trying to get real estate deals done. In my 20s with no money and borrowing and begging and doing everything I can to get in deals. And in my 30s, trying to maintain the company and grow it. You know, you're in the trenches going. But I realized this weekend what internally we want to do is make money. So it's not even an issue in our life, because that's when we can get to taking that huge worry off our plate about ourselves, our future, where we're going to be and the families and the people we love. And we can start really going deep and figure out who we are, how we can be better people, how we can leave this earth better than we found it, how we can leave our families better than we found it. What you truly like, who are you deep down? And maybe you have all this figured out. I might be just the crazy one, but at 44, I'm figuring this out because the first time in my life, I feel really amazing about my business. I feel I'm buying over 50 deals a month right now. I love where I'm at, and I'm not saying that to brag and don't compare yourself to where I am. I've been at this for 20 something years. I'm a real estate agent expert, the best educator, all those things. But I started out as low as probably anybody watching right now. The only reason I'm sharing this is because I love the fact that I'm trying to figure myself out on another level so I can be a better human being. I could be a better educator, a better example to you guys. I could be a better example to my children and the people I love, my partners, my friends. I want to be a better person. So let's get money out of the way. If you want another level of inspiration, let's get making money so you can really get to the root, the heart of the person, your true self. Who are you, deep down? Who are you supposed to be? If you believe in God, the universe, whatever it is, we were put on this earth to be something amazing, every single one of us, and we're not going to find it with all the crap of bills and worry in our way. Now I know if you're watching and you got all that, you're like, well, thanks, Dean. You make me feel crappier. No, let's just focus. If you have no money, let's focus on wholesaling. Buy and hold, buy, fix and flip, partner with people, whatever you got to do. Let's get money out of the way so you can be the person you are put on this earth to be. And that's my message today, because that was the feeling I had sitting there is. I know I try to be an amazing example. I try to be a good person. But I got a long ways to go. And now that money isn't a worry for me, I think I'm going to get there really fast. And I wish the absolute same for you. And if it happens at 64, 24 or 94, who cares? Let's just make it happen. I'll talk to you next week.
