All right. Hopefully we're not having technical difficulties anymore. I tried a couple times before. I'm, as you can see, I'm in my car. But I had a message that I wanted to share that I think is really important for this time of year. And I'm just talking now to get everybody on here on this live. Good morning. Unless you're watching the replay, but if you're watching me live right now, Good morning. Good to have you guys here. I want to share today, three tips, three things to do in preparation to make 2018 the best year of your life. You know, we say that all the time. We want to set New Year's resolutions. It's the time of year. It's the perfect time of year to set new goals and seek new heights. But so many times. Thanks for guys who joining me. Good to have you here. Andre, Bertie, everybody who's joined us this morning. Good to have you here. So let's get, let's, let's be, let's be real honest here. By February 15, most people who set New Year's resolutions are right back to where they were. Right? Let's think about that. Right? You get excited. I mean, it's true. New Year's January 1st is the perfect time to set new standards, to set new goals, to set resolutions. But why do we fall back? Why do we fall back in the rhythm of our lives? And none of them stick. So that's why I think this is one of the most important live webcam, live weekly wisdoms I've ever done. If you like this message as we're talking, share this, get this out to other people who need to set resolutions, who want to set goals that actually stick. So I want to share three things, three tips that I think are totally unfair advantages, totally things that can set you up for an Amazing, epic 2018. Okay, you guys ready? Let's talk about it. Number one. Yes. January 1st. We'll set goals. We'll set desires. And so many of you guys are watching. You already know how to set goals. You've done it forever. You know how important goals are. But why don't they always stick? Why do they seem to fade? Why do. They're in your heart, they're in your soul. You know, you want to make changes, but they just don't go. So here it is. You ready for the three. Number one, look backwards with a positive focus. You see what happens this time of year. What happened? Good morning, Lisa. Sending you love. What happens this time of year is, I think, the way our brains Are programmed or could be the news or I'm not sure how. What it is, but. What's up, Liberio? What's up, Mary? Good to see you guys. Okay. We look back at the things we missed out on, right? Don't we? Sometimes doesn't. Whether it's now or New Year's Eve or New Year's Day, we'll look back and go, God, I thought I'd be in better shape. I thought I would have lost that weight. I thought my business would have been doing better. I thought it would have started that new entity. I thought I would have finally broken out and done my own thing or fixed my relationship or better. Dad, why did I miss that? Why did I not do it? And here's what we do. We look back on what we did wrong and we carry that crap, that shit thinking, for lack of a better word, into our next year. Here's the thing, we can't do anything about the past. It's gone. It's. You can't unwind it. But even better than that, not that we can't go back and change it. What we can do is remind ourselves of all the incredible things you did accomplish. Even if it was the hardest year of your life, if shit went bad, you learned from it. You learned what not to do. You were stronger than you think. You helped more people than you remember helping. You made a bigger impact on the universe, on God, on the world, than you ever would give yourself credit for. So here's number one again. If you like this guy, share this. Get this out to people. They need this. People need this. This year. Instead of looking back on what you missed out on, you can't go unwind it. Why not look back with a positive focus and restructure it in your mind. And today, make a list. Be ready, Be prepped for 2018. Be prepped and ready for January 1st. Today. Make a list of all the things you did accomplish in 2018 or in 2017. Make a list of the problems you had, but what you learned from it. Create something called a POS. Focus. Focus on the positive of 2017, even if it was only little pieces, because that's what you want to carry into 2018 as your momentum to make it an epic year. So one is look back with a positive focus, the things you did wrong, who cares? You can't undo it, let it burn. Regrets only hold you back for the future life that you deserve. So that's number one. Number two is we tend to procrastinate, all of us. We Procrastinate. I'm gonna. I should. When my wife or husband support me, when the economy changes, when that, you know, we're waiting for. When we're waiting for someday and someday never comes. How fast is the last 5, 10, 20 years gone by? Right? So we can procrastinate or we can learn to be massively productive in 2018. How do we do that? Now, I talk about this a lot, and I hate to be a reminder, but I go to a lot of events that I pay a lot of money for. And Dan Sullivan, who I pay 25 grand a year, always says to me, hey, I'm an expensive reminder service. So I'm going to ask you today, do it this week. If your 2018 is important to you, then do this today. Write down the stuff you should not be doing in 2018. What in 2017, looking back over the year, ate up your time, ate up your energy, ate up your power, your positivity, ate up your existence. That didn't serve you, didn't serve God, didn't serve your bigger future, didn't serve the love that you want, the passion you want, the income you want. What? What ate up your 2017? Even if it's an hour a week, an hour a day, an hour a month, figure out what that is and kill that crap going into 2018, it's off your list. You're not doing it. You're not making excuses about it, because you will find the time. So you're no longer procrastinating because you're being productive. So the double P's stop procrastinating and be more productive. How do you do that? By getting rid of the crap we shouldn't be doing. We all do it. And at every level of your life, as you evolve, there's more stuff you should be getting rid of. And I always talk about, do three things. Just stop doing it all together or hand it off to somebody else. Let someone else do it. Or third, maybe there's a way to automate it. Maybe you're running around paying bills or you're writing checks. Still, when you can automate that stuff, you can have systems and processes in place to make life easier. Find the automation to help get rid of it. Stop doing it or ask someone else to do it, but stop doing the things that are eating you up, eating up your time for the bigger, better life that you desire. And it's not years away. It's 2018. So the prep, what was number one? Number one is positive focus. Number two, kill procrastination. And start being more productive by just simply stop doing the stuff that doesn't serve you and do the stuff that brings you to the next level. You want to fix your relationship? Figure that shit out. Want to make more money? Start that business. Stop procrastinating. Want to do that first deal? Make that deal happen by not wasting time. The third thing is attach an emotion to it. I'm not even talking about your goals because you know what they are. You're going to figure those out. But remember, when you start thinking now in prep of the goals that you're going to set at the beginning of the year, don't just think, I want to make more money. I want to start the new business. I want to fix the relationship. I want to get in better shape. I want to lose the weight. Finally, attach a powerful emotion to it. It Attach pain, attach pleasure. If you lose weight, what does that mean? Oh, I'll look better. Yeah, that's great, but not enough. Will you set an example for your children, for your grandchildren, for the people around you? Will you inspire your friends to lose weight and get better shape? Will you live longer? You know what's that saying? A man with his health has a thousand wishes and a man without his health has but one, right? So fast forward and think about how you'll feel if you got sick too young of age because you weren't taking care of yourself. Attach an emotion to it. You want to make more money. Why? Do you want to retire? Your parents? Do you want to take care of your children? Do you want to get your spouse out of a job that's killing you? Want to travel the world? You want to buy the new house? I don't know what it is, but how would that make you feel? Would it make you feel confident, courageous? Would it make you feel alive, secure, safe? Right. When you attach in a powerful emotion to a goal, it's not just this thing. You don't just want more money, you only want the job. No, I want to feel like the man that I should feel like. I want to feel like the woman who could take care of herself or take care of her family. I want to feel like the grandparent who puts money away from our children. I want to feel like when I retire, I'm set for life. I don't have to stress. When you attach that powerful emotion to that, then it comes live. Guys, if you're liking these three steps, hit the like button right now. Hit the share button right now. Let's get this out to people in prep for The New Year.
