Hey, everybody. Dean Graziosi, welcome to the weekly Wisdom. I'm down here in Boca Raton, Florida, with a bunch of great friends. We're on our fifth day of Tony Robbins date with destiny. The guy is insane. We've been going till 1, 2, 3 o' clock in the morning and start the next day. But it's been unbelievable. You know, first I had about six people in my life that I really felt needed to go. So I set him up. Tony's an amazing friend, so he put him right up front. He says, no problem, Dean. They'll be my guest. And at the last minute, they were all like, dude, you need to get your butt down here and come with us. And I said, you know, I don't need it right now, but I'll go. And I'm so glad I did. You know, there's always. There's always one thing. Well, there's hundreds of things, but there was one thing at this event that totally affected my life. And I realized the universe sometimes speaks to you and tells you what to do because you need something. So it was great, and I'm glad I'm here. But why am I sharing that with you? Because something magical that I thought was just I so needed to share with you came out of this event, and it's that it's you. It's you. And what do I mean by that is, you know, I don't know if you're struggling in a personal relationship or at your job or with a friend or spouse or loved one or a family member, but in life, sometimes we have an oppressor. We have someone that doesn't treat us right. We have people or surroundings that are just not meant to be supportive, to reach our goals, to live that life. You want to have the relationship, you want the love, you want the finances, the job, the income and all those things, right? And so many times we think we have to change the people around you. And the truth is, some people do need to change. But the fact is, we can't make people change. So the only thing we can do is change ourselves to be that fully alive and conscious bright light that focuses on solutions, that has an abundance mindset and doesn't get drugged down by the news or life or free friends. And we step up and we become the best person you can be. Because if you can't force someone to change, then change yourself. So many cases in life, when the tide rises, all boats rise. And you need to be that rising tide. Now, listen, can you change everybody? And you might have a super negative person in life or even a spouse. But if you can't force them, you're not supposed to lower yourself to their level. You're supposed to live and be the person God meant you to be, or the world meant you be. The universe meant you to be. You see, a guy stood up and he was talking about his relationship and how there was no more passion, there was no more intimacy where they were just good friends. And Tony said, you know what? If you treated a relationship like the beginning of a relationship, at the end, there'd be no more end. And then he looked at the guy and he said, if you can't change your wife, if you want to say she's too focused on the family or doesn't care about you anymore, then what about being the most amazing you? What if you did those things you used to do? Do you know, what if you gave her little notes or told her she looked amazing or just kissed her for no reason? And he went through this list and, you know, you can imagine what a beginning of relationships like compared to an end. And I watched this guy's face just transform. And he realized a lot of it had been him. He had forgotten the man he was. He forgotten how to treat a woman. And it just made me think so much as in life, the best we can do is be our best us. And you know, in some cases throughout my life, when I've done that, I've lost friends, I've lost people in my life because they couldn't handle that shining light, that optimism, that abundance, mindset that I'm going for it no matter what and no one's going to stop me mindset that I didn't want to talk about the negative news and I lost some of those people, but I gained twice as many incredible people. So that's my message for the week, is let's focus on us this week. And if you're Dean Graziosi.com, of course, go grab my books right up there for free.
