Hey, guys. Dean Graziosi, welcome to the Weekly Wisdom. Okay, this week I want to talk about the difference between a core belief and a theory of a belief. You know, I also want to tell you that maybe I've lied to you. Well, not really lied, but maybe you believe that when I share with you week after week, that everything that I share with you, I do perfectly with no problem. I get to be inspired. I tell myself good stories. I'm always focused on the future. I don't let negative people drag me down. I don't listen to the negative news. I could go on and on, all the things I share with you every single week. But I want to let you know, do I do them all perfect? Absolutely not. That's why it's so easy to share these. It's so easy to be a part of what you do, because it's an evolution. You don't go to the gym once and work out like crazy and be in great shape for the rest of your life. You have to go week after week and make smart decisions once you learn something. And it's the same with going to that next level of life. When you get this information, when you understand how to get to the other side, then it's each day, each week, each month practicing this and evolving towards the best you. And there's always more. I mean, that's one of the biggest stresses in life, right, is knowing you have untapped potential, knowing that there's more. So let's go back to a core belief and a theory on a belief, because I know I've struggled with this. So I want you to think about that. When? What, this week? What I would love for you to think about is what are your core beliefs, beliefs on how you want to go to the next level? Why do you want to go next level? What would you do or not do to go to that next level? How deep of love do you deserve? What kind of connection do you deserve? What kind of respect do you deserve? What boundaries should you put up that you don't have up right now? Who are you at the core of your soul, your heart, compared to life, throwing so much at us and trying to figure things out, and we're bobbing and weaving, we're deflecting, we're playing defense, and all of a sudden we come up with a theory of what we believe. We might come up with a theory that if I accomplish this in business, all will be happy. We might come up with a theory that. My belief is if my spouse is better, to Me, I'll feel better if my kids do this. I'll be okay. You know, a good friend pointed that out to me. The difference between a theory of a belief and a core belief sounds kind of similar, but it's not. So here's what I'd love for you to do this week is just go through the day, just go through the week as you always would. But when things don't feel right, when you feel off, you feel you deserve more love, more money, more respect, more appreciation, you deserve more free time for you to be at peace. I want you to jot down all these things that you don't want but might be a part of what you think you believe is better compared to what really resonates and feels good and just jot them down on a pro and con the whole week. And then towards the end of the week or next week, what if you just sat down once again and so many of you watching already know what your beliefs are, but what if you sat down after a week of that and analyzed it that way? Which one is a core belief in my soul, in my heart, this is who I am foundationally and what I want compared to maybe a theory or an evolution of a story that pretends to be your belief. I think once you find them and you have a few anchor beliefs, it's a great foundation for all of us to start towards that journey towards that next level of life.
