Hey, everybody, this is D. Graziosi. Welcome to the weekly wisdom. Excuse the casual attire here. I'm out in San Diego for a couple weeks escaping the Phoenix heat. But I get to work from home here. I got this great little courtyard in the house we rented. Okay, what I want to talk about today is putting first things first. You know, we all have so many things going on in our lives. Hopefully you create some kind of to do list, or at least something that even a not to do list. But you have accountability for the things that you want to accomplish. If we don't focus on them, if we don't write them down, if we don't set intention for them, they're going to stay the same. You're going to live the same day over and over again, every single day, expecting a different result. So, yes, writing stuff down, absolutely important. Making important. Making a to do list, absolutely important. But here's what I know most people do wrong. They put the wrong things first, or they put the things first that are easy or the things that don't cause them stress. And the things you need to do get kicked down the road. The can gets kicked. You know, we end up in so many cases doing busy work, doing the stuff that keeps our mind occupied. It's like we're running on treadmills, but we're not getting anywhere. You know, you get done with a day, how many times have you got done with a day? And you're like, God, I was busy all day, but what the heck did I accomplish? In most cases, it's because psychologically, you are putting the things that you know you're comfortable with doing first. The things that are easy to do. You're putting first the things that don't make other people uncomfortable. You're. You're putting first. But the times where you need to make someone uncomfortable, you need to have that conversation with a spouse. You need to take action in business. You need to make your first offer, make your first deal. You need to take action. You put those things at the end of the list, and they never get done. And a month can go by, a year can go by. Sometimes 10 years can go by where you're not taking the right actions. You know, listen, this is probably the busiest time in history. We have cell phones. I'm doing this from my phone right now, this video. We have text messages coming in. We check our social media, we check our Facebook account. And if you're on Instagram and an email comes in and a phone call comes in, we're never alone. Anymore. Busy, busy, busy. But what I would ask you to put yourself in check this week is are you putting the first things first? Are you doing the things on your list that might be a little hard, might be a little confrontational, might take you to come out of your comfort zone and take action? Are you putting them at the bottom or are you powering through them? Listen, the great book was the obstacle is the way. The obstacle, the part that gives you the pain, the part that seems to be an obstacle, is usually the fastest way to the end result. And the end result is the success, the passion, the income, the wealth you desire. Stop putting off till tomorrow what you can do today. I would encourage you that this week, make a list of what needs to be done and put the things on the list that need to get done, not the things that are easy to do. Busy work is easy to get sucked into. Running to Home Depot, running to the store, doing all those things that are really just distracting you from the things you know you need to do. So that's my message for this week, this weekly wisdom. Thanks for being here with me. Thanks for sharing.
