Before chasing that next level, when you have the idea, ask yourself this: are we aligned on where we're going? That means, are we aligned on our values? Are we aligned on the vision of where we want to go? Then do we have shared expectations, shared gratitude, shared desire, shared goals? When you push for another level, the people around you, as Trent Shelton said, they don't have your vision. They don't have your prescription on where you want to go. True. Even though they love you, they care about you, but if they don't have your vision, they might not be able to see what you see, and therefore you don't have identical dreams. And that's okay. You should have different dreams, different goals, but a shared direction, a shared outcome, and how you could do it walking alongside of each other.
