Meet Delphi, my AI Clone. EP #336 - Den Lennie

G', day, guys. It's Dan. I recorded this a couple days ago and then screwed up the file somehow. So after 30 years in this business, I still make mistakes. I was sharing a new tool that I've just embedded on my website, which I think might benefit you. And it's a. An AI chat box, but it's been completely trained using, in isolation, in a silo, my content. So I've uploaded my books, all the podcasts, other sources of information that are publicly available.

And what I want to do today is walk you through how you can use that to get answers to questions. If you're thinking about growing your video business completely for free. And it's surprisingly good. So I want to take you through it in just a second and show you some really cool things that you can do with it and, you know, maybe have a play with it yourself.

Welcome to the Video Business Accelerator Podcast. Each week we uncover the secrets to creating a wildly successful and scalable video production business. With your host, Dan Lenny, discover how the accelerator program is transforming the lives of our members at www.videobusinessaccelerator.com. enjoy this episode.

So take two for this session today. So this thing is called Delphi and it has been created. And what I love about it is it's not just searching the Internet for random content, it's actually basing its responses on my voice, my tone. So some of the things you can do with it. Right. So I'm using it currently just as a chat box or a chat bot, and it's basically my clone. And you can go to my website, denleny.com d n l e n n I e.com and try it for yourself. So there are a bunch of suggested questions that it, it's kind of throws up for you if you're struggling to know what to ask it. The first thing I've looked at here is how is not drinking alcohol for six months affected your health goals and discipline. And it's now referencing a podcast we did on the fact that I didn't drink for six months to see what would happen. And what it's doing now is it's searching, is referencing that particular content. Now. What's so cool about this is it's very, very accurate. It doesn't sound or feel like a weird AI clone. So any questions you have about me, about the books, about, about, you know, and we, we've got three books. One called Business for Filmmakers, we've got one called Marketing for Filmmakers. We've got one called the Filmmaker's guide to budgets and quotes. And basically, you know, it's a pretty terrible thing to be doing this, but I'll tell you anyway, if you don't want to buy the books, just ask a question in the chat box and you will get the answers. Now my team will hate me for saying that and Amazon will stop making so much percentage off the books. I think we get like cents in the dollar. But, but the thing is, what's interesting is that content's already available and, and to, to give you the opportunity to search it very easily is going to allow you to, I guess, be. Have. Have questions answered more quickly. So the other thing you can do is it's. Is you can ask it questions by text. You can actually text a number and get text responses. So if you're on location or you're doing something and you want to get some responses, you can do that. And the other thing you can do is you can call it now. I want to see if I can do this live and see if you can hear it. But one second, you might hear my dog snoring in the background. Let's try calling it now and let's see what comes up. This is a live experiment. Hi, I'm Den, Lenny's virtual clone. I've been trained by Den in all of his work and have learned how to answer many questions you might have about the Video Business Accelerator. How can I help you today? So it obviously doesn't sound like me, but that's okay. They wanted like six grand to make it sound like me, and I thought it's not that important.

But what I can say is, okay.

What'S the best way to connect with clients on LinkedIn? You.

Absolutely. Getting the tone right is crucial. But let's focus on connecting with clients on LinkedIn. The key is to be both strategic and personal. Start by optimizing your LinkedIn profile to reflect your expertise in the video business. Make sure your headline summary and experience clearly showcase your skills and the unique value you bring. Next, engage actively. I mean, I'll just stop it there, right? But you get the idea. It's pretty cool. And I think where this is going to be powerful in terms of our business here is, you know, we've been doing this for 30 years. We have recorded 336 podcast episodes. This will be. We've reached tens of thousands of people and for some of you, this has become a lifeline, a place where you get valuable information completely for free. And by the way, if you want more help and for still to be Free then. Then you should click on our free training tab on our website and it will take you to a school community called level up and grow your video biz. I went to write that because it was a limited number of characters. I wouldn't normally use the word biz, but to make it fit, we only had limited characters. Now in that group, there is a whole heap of resources that you can access completely for free to help you kickstart your video business. We've got the budgets and quotes book in there and you know, one, one member used that to put a quote together and won a $38,000 deal. And we have a weekly call in that community for free and we've been running them for about three months now. And Adam jumped on yesterday and has just won a $10,000 project as a result of implementing some of the changes we suggested to him over the last eight, nine weeks. In the free call, there is a pricing calculator, There is a Business 101 Kickstarter which gives you some really key starting points for your video business. And then we have all the call recordings from all the free calls we've done. So you can scoop back into that and you can start to look at, you know, what's going on in those communities, the early stages of building this community. If you haven't yet joined, we'd love to have you over to, to meet with us and kind of come and hang out. I want to be clear. There is no bait and switch. There's no kind of like trick up our sleeve. Our attitude is that we want to treat everyone like clients. Some clients pay us to go deeper and some clients are not yet ready to do that. But I feel a great sense of obligation to support the video industry. The video industry that's been so good to me over the last 30 years. And so rather than you paying a fee to, you know, chat with us, you can do that for free. There's no need to pay a fee. You can come and hang out, ask us anything. Me and the coaches will, will support you. And you know, some people decide to go deeper and come and join us in our paid programs and that's completely cool. Obviously we're running a business, but this front end offer is a place where you can get to know us, get to decide if you like us and then you can see if you can trust us or not. And there's absolutely no commitment for you to do anything. And if you come and check out the group and it's not for you, you can leave at Any time. So yeah, come and check that out. And in the meantime, you go and have a play with delphi.AI/denleny. And you know, it's, it's a fantastic mechanism on the web, on the web app. It's got topics on entrepreneurship, business, finance, community, video production, project management, marketing, wellness, career development, education, tech, you know, career design, there's real estate discussions in there, communication. It's an endless stream. I'm going to continue to populate it with content. In fact, this podcast will then become part of Delphi's searchability. But what's really cool is it's, it's like it's not widely available on the Internet in terms of it's not drawing its modeling from third party sources, it's only drawing it from me. So what you're going to get when you interact with this AI clone of me is it 24, 7. Ask a question, get an answer. Because you know, still a human here. And so we need to sleep and of course we have clients all over the world. So if you are looking to kind of try a little bit of our stuff out, then you can do that here. Very, very cool. I'm so excited because I've been looking for this type of solution for some time. And just a couple of quick things. If you go to that Delphi D, E, L, P, h I.AI/denleny and you click on the phone symbol which is up on the right hand side of the page, you can SMS me. Now you're not SMSing my direct form, you're SMSing my clone's phone. But I see everything. So if you want to ask a question or something you want us to get back to you on, just pop your email address in there as well and we will email you back. So yeah, look, I just wanted to kind of drop this into your feed. I'm. We've got some kind of cool things bubbling with the podcast which I'm excited about and we're going to be revealing them over the next few weeks. You know, after this many years of doing the podcast, I know from speaking to listeners and clients how valuable you find this to be. And it's not just some kind of basic, you know, here's my six or eight steps to running a video business. We've done all that stuff. I mean that stuff is obviously in our free community anyway. This is much more about having a dialogue with you and discussing the wide range of topics that face video business owners in life. You know, a lot of our clients are young Fathers and mothers juggling running a business and their partners are often the main breadwinners and they're juggling kids and business. And like, we talk a lot about that. Um, it's, you know, it's, it's not just about what's the right sort of, you know, form to use in your website or what's the right contract to have. It's about the holistic, full gamut of challenges that we face as human beings running business with other human beings. So guys, it's been, it's been nice to chat to you today. I'm actually going to do a little experiment, maybe do some, some more daily episodes of this podcast and just see how they get received.

But as always, if you've never done a review for us, we'd love it if you go over to your podcast app of choice, leave us a review and then please do go to my website@denleny.com or videobusinessaccelerator.com both will have a link to the free community. Please come and join our free community. There is no catch, I promise you. There's no kind of like bait and switch. We're going to suddenly try and sell you something. We don't operate like that. The way we operate is by giving you value and if you want to go deeper, there's a pathway that we can help you with and we don't do any hard selling. So please feel safe that you can come here. I, I'm, I'm just as sick as you are of every five minutes opening Facebook into some new kid on the block.

Trying to, trying to pitch their, their coaching services. And you know, the fact is this is what we've been doing full time for eight years. So we're very, very, you know, embedded in this. We've had some huge success with clients sometimes in the region of a couple of million dollars a year in revenue and a lot of people just starting out and a lot of people doing half a million to a million. And those are quite life changing amounts of money for you to have in a business and support your family. So guys, as always, love you and we'll talk soon.
