These are the top three signs your ductwork needs attention. Number one, you go downstairs or you go upstairs, wherever the duck is. And it feels the opposite of the weather, Meaning in the summertime, it feels cool. In the wintertime, it feels warm. That means you're losing air because of that duct system and causing a problem. Number two, if your filter is not getting dirty. Wait a minute. That's good, right? Your filter is not supposed to get dirty. No. If your filter is not getting dirty, that means that air is not coming into the filter from the system, which means you have a duct problem because the air is not getting back and getting through the filter for the duct system. Number three, your filter is getting too dirty. Wait a minute. My filter is getting too dirty? Yes. It means you're probably sucking in dirt to your duct system, and then it's coming through the home back to the filter. Those are the three signs you need to have your duct system checked.
