In this YouTube short, Derek Cole explains that air‑conditioner failures usually develop gradually rather than suddenly. He introduces a list of five warning signs that an AC unit is struggling, and details the first sign: the home never feels comfortable even though the thermostat shows the set temperature (e.g., 72 °F). The discrepancy—clammy or humid indoor air despite the thermostat reading—indicates the AC is not properly dehumidifying or cooling, signaling a potential problem that needs attention.
