A short spoken safety warning describing an incident where compressor wiring vibrated against a copper line, wore through its insulation, made electrical contact with the copper, and caused a short; the speaker advises caution to avoid similar hazards.
He was just at a unit Friday, Thursday or Friday. Wires coming off the compressor. Oh, yeah, laying across the copper line. It shorted out. That line was. It was laying there. And that little vibration in that unit over a period of time ate the jacket off that wire. And finally the wire got copper. And guess what happened? It didn't. Luckily it didn't blow a hole in the copper. That's what I told him. Luckily it blew a hole in that copper. But you can see where it, where it made connection with that copper and it's shorted out and all that, so just be careful.
