In this short advisory video, Derek Cole emphasizes that when selecting HVAC equipment, the most critical factor is not the brand name but the contractor who installs and services the system. He argues that HVAC units require regular maintenance and can break down, so the reliability, responsiveness, and trustworthiness of the installer/servicer are what ultimately determine customer satisfaction. Cole urges viewers to prioritize a contractor they can trust over any brand reputation.
