There's no place for you here. You just don't have what it takes. That's what my dad said after I asked for a job after graduating college. Pretty tough to hear, especially coming from your dad. Guess I deserved it, though. I mean, sure, I graduated with a 3.7 GPA, made the dean's list and all of that, but growing up, I didn't make things easy on my folks. Guess you can say it took me a while to figure it all out. But I did. Eventually. And I was determined to make a spot for myself working in the family business. Business? Now, back then, we didn't have a full time warehouse manager, but boy, did we need one. So I volunteered to fix things. I negotiated better prices with suppliers and got us a computer system to track parts. I proved I have what it takes. And now I want to prove that to you. At Simmons. One hour heating air. We'll do whatever it takes to make you happy. You called? We're always here for you. Just call when you need us.
