A brief YouTube clip (creator: Derek Cole) warning that dirt is the major threat to home heating and cooling systems, attributing most contamination to leaky ducts. The speaker claims studies show 95% of homes lose at least 25% of air to leaky ducts and recommends duct sealing using the patented AeroSeal process to save energy and improve indoor air quality.
The number one killer of your heating and air system is dirt. So how do I keep the dirt out? How do I keep the dust away from my system? Well, you could do regular maintenance, but you can also pair that with duct sealing. Most of the problem is coming through your duct system. Studies show 95% of homes have at least 25% of air being lost to leaky duct systems. How can you fix it? Duct sealing with aero seal. It's a patented process that uses a computer and seals it by using pressure in the duct. A human cannot seal all the places the air flows, but a computer can't do it. You want to seal your ducts, save energy on, but more importantly, breathe cleaner air, because now you're stealing that system, the attic, the crawl space. That air is not coming into your system, therefore, coming into your house.
