It is then trying to push you forward and you're bringing her back. It's straining the blow motor, straining the duct system. Not a good long term solution. I think someone said in the comments, it's just like your car, you know, turn vent off in your car and the other one blows harder. Well, that's true in the car, and it could be true at home in some cases. But instead, that car vent going 2ft away from it, your duct system has a, what, 20, 25 foot run off the main trunk line to that room. So that air has to travel back and try to go somewhere else. It's going to cause a strain. So I know you think you're saving money by closing vents and unused rooms, but the long term effects could be a problem. So don't close your HVC vents.
