The crew discusses HVAC and construction details: clearances for lighting and ductwork need 20-23 inches between drop ceiling and structure, airflow capacity runs 63 CFM, and fogging helps detect leaks while air scrubbers catch overspray in different building zones.
That's probably one of the prettiest. I mean, that's one of the prettiest swings I ever seen on a, on a youth baseball.
I mean, that's minor league, major league.
Yeah, that's pretty swing.
D1.
Golly, that is a pretty swing. And he's on— he ain't on y'all team?
No, he's on— he used to have to play against her. Okay. So, um, he actually robbed one time. He's so tall he can run left field, and left fielder comes up on it, sort of sits back because he can't get to it in time. I'm like, well, it's a single. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, that engineer snatches it.
What position he play?
Center field. He can cover some ground, son. You see how tall and long-legged he is? You need room above the ceiling for your 4-inch lights, then probably 14 inches for ductwork. So you need 20 inches between the drop ceiling.
Like I said, they need to go ahead and stud that outside wall up 10 foot then, and then put the rafters and the plywood under. That'll give you 23 inches or 22 inches between the ceiling and the actual stuff.
Yep. And then when you pop ceiling tile to run cable or something like that, you ain't got to deal with putting insulation back and all that crap. 63 CFM out of— How many refrigerators pull these? Exactly what I said. Yeah.
So you guys get fog like that on occasion in a house? I mean, if you got major leakage, you're going to get fog. If you got it in an attic or or somewhere like that, you got— it's going to overspray because it's trying to seal it, right? Yeah, that's where you're going to have that air scrubber. When you first start fogging and you walk through and you look for those areas, you take that air scrubber to that trouble area so it can catch that surface and catch that overspray.
Spring, I guess you want to say, before I throw my wires back on. It doesn't matter. I don't care. I just— that's what I said. I'm just saying nobody really follows that rule.
