Derek Cole says start with a good air filter and air-cleaning practices before spending money on duct cleaning or sealing. Without stopping particles at the source, debris just builds up again, making duct cleaning a recurring expense.
The more you can control these particles, obviously the better off you are. But I mean, we've gone to customers before that only wanted a duct cleaning or a duct sealing. And really, you know, let's start with the basics first. Let's get a good filter in there, or let's start air cleaning, which we'll start talking about on day 2, the air cleaning. But let's get the basics down first before we move on to a duct cleaning or things like that, because we can clean the duct, but we're going to be here next year if we don't start addressing these problems here.
