One of the things I'll be talking about more often is, you know, 4 years ago I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Obviously, that's a, you know, that's a lifelong diagnosis. There is no cure. And a month ago, you know, I tested positive for the JC virus, which It's not good either. So at 35, I mean, you gotta go forward with what you have. I mean, I wanted to do as much as I can for as long as I can. Hey guys, Derek Cole here. The main problem we see any season is dirt.
Finally stopped to listen from the end to the beginning. Every time I say we need a change, oh, you tell me it's a phase. Why don't we listen like we used to? Conversation's grown so hollow.
Pour another glass, light We are at the beach. The family's in the indoor pool and I'm here. They'll be here all week, but I got like a day and a half and then I gotta roll back. But I just wanted to shoot a quick little video saying, man, just— I've talked to so many people and they're thinking about things and they're going through things and should I do things? Yes, you should. You have to act. You have to do. One of the things I'll be talking about more often is, you know, 4 years ago I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Obviously that's a You know, that's a lifelong diagnosis. There is no cure. And a month ago, I was, you know, I tested positive for the JC virus, which is not good either. So at 35, I mean, you gotta go forward with what you have. I mean, I wanted to do as much as as I can for as long as I can. Yes, drawing disability, sitting on the couch complaining, feeling sorry for yourself. Yeah, I could do all that, and people probably wouldn't have too much of a problem with it, but that's not me. That's not who I want to be. That's not what I want to do. It's not the example I want to live for Brody. 10, you know, I don't want him to ever give up, so I don't want him to see me give up. So I want to do as much as I can for as long as I can. But, you know, going from best-case scenario at 30 with awesome blood tests and good weight to almost worst-case scenario at 31, you know, it's a bit of a shocker, but it goes back to to what I said before. You're not promised tomorrow. You're not promised health. You're not promised anything. So you got to stop thinking about it and you just have to do it. Do your dream. Do your life. If something, something is in you that you want to do, then you should go for it. And yes, you have to be practical and you have to pay bills and you have families, and I get that. I understand it, but still, it's amazing to me how many people are fine settling, just being content with the American dream, you know, going home from an 8-to-5 job. And, you know, it's like that every day. And if that's what you want to do, then go for it. I mean, but, uh, then you can't complain about it. But, um, I just want to encourage as much as I can to go for it. Yes, I'll give you some advice on marketing and hitting in there tips and all that stuff, but I got just a tiny bit of this, uh, motivation inside me I want to spit out. Uh, hopefully it helps somebody. Shoot, if one person is helped or this inspires somebody to even think about it, then great. I just want you to be happy, and I see a lot of people not happy because they're settling. They're being comfortable with what's around them, and if that's you, that's fine. If you're having second thoughts, then let's work it out, man. I mean, figure it out and let's go for it, because one life, one time. That's it.
I couldn't care less about the distance.
