This is a YouTube video titled "Number 1 thing you didn't know about your energy overspending energy bill | Inside 65" (created 2025-05-03). The excerpt is a multi-speaker dialogue (labeled SPEAKER A/B/C) that sounds like a field sales/consultation or internal sales training discussion about HVAC replacement decisions. The participants discuss SEER ratings, current vs. new unit electricity costs, a five‑year utility overpayment calculation (~$1,625), estimated future repair costs (~$1,430), inflation assumptions, and a combined extra cost of roughly $3,000 to keep the existing 25‑year-old unit. They also mention offering options such as a 10‑year parts and labor warranty and encourage replacing the old unit to save on utilities and repairs. The language is English and the clip focuses on cost/ROI reasoning for replacing an old HVAC system.

I mean she didn't die.
Would you say five? 10? I say five.
I say five.
Yeah, yeah. I say five. So you say life remaining, right? Negative two. Put a five in there, call us the repairs. We got a repair today.
That's maintenance.
$12. We got no repairs. Thing is running like a tail. All right. Utility overpayment. What in the world does that mean?
I would say when you initially start with a system, was it to what you pay now.
All right. What sear is that? Unit.
10 seer.
Listen, is a small computer in your pocket. You have an iPad too. What's the Siri 4.
I don't know if I know.
4 usually a guess, right? Yep. So I just put in Google A SEER versus 14.3. SEARed comes up with seared calculator from this company. I'm going to use it. Nine seer versus 18 ounce. All right. Non sear is the least amount. So let's slide over to 14.3. That's yeah, let's see. It's a three ton. All right, so they say the current. Just math on this. Let's say current ANC is costing them $810 of electricity per year. They said a new one would be 485 per year. So what's 810 minus 485?
325.
325. How much they're overpaying in dirty per year? Per year. How many years? How many rental years? Five years.
Five years of life left, right.
Times five. So what's that number times five?
1625.
Makes sense. As simple as that. That's their utility overpayment over five years. 1625. Future repair cost guaranteed one capacity at least. At least be a minimum. Well you think it's fair to say what level? One for the next every year average. I was doing what's a little bit to 286. 286 times 5 is what 5 years? 1430. 1430. All right, so what's 1625 plus 1430?
3055.
All right. So inflation 6%.
Because they're typical.
Their price increases are like 6% usually.
Return these come up manufacturing.
Yes, I see what you would.
That was the difference. I'm going to talk about three. That was about six. I want to say maybe 4.5. I don't know. I was spit the difference.
All right, so you got the inflation is what four and a half percent?
Four and a half percent.
So that's going to be times 1355.
$4863.
No. What's. What's four and a half percent times 1355?
4.5% times 355 is $15.95.
15.95 times five years.
Is $79.75. So then add those to the two.
You take the inflation times of repair or Towns at 13.55 gives you $15.95 a year average times 5 years 79.25. So the intake is 7925 plus 1355.
Put you at $3134 and some change.
And that's a year extra cost in utilities. This is a very low example.
Right, but this is also, I mean you're very low ball on your repairs.
Because I mean there's still overpaying $3,000 to keep the existing unit for the next five years probably minimum. Would you grip Michael in a major repair and then after they waste $3,000 guess what they got by? I got a 5 revenue unit at 4 1/2% times 5 years. Increase the cost by so much with the inclusion. That's so much they got bad new unit for. So yeah it's 25 year old units working. But at least you're spending $3,000 to hang on this thing.
Do all that and still come out of the 25 year old unit.
So Mr. Owen, what do you think? It's a lot of men. He uses a lot of men. I would agree. Would you prefer to get Brian or Gary or Brian Daniel, whoever to get somebody out of here to just give it opposite Give you the options for a 10 year parts and loan warranty where you don't have to worry about repairs for the next 10 years. Start saving money on utilities. What 16, 25 a what? That's a lot.
