Short single-speaker YouTube advisory (by Derek Cole) recommending that homes with any gas appliance should have a carbon monoxide (CO) detector. The speaker notes many homes use combination smoke/CO alarms but argues CO is heavier than air and recommends placing CO detectors low on the wall near floor-level outlets for effective detection; ceiling-mounted units are suitable for smoke but not CO.
