Derek Cole reports temperatures will stay above 70 degrees through summer, with humidity still rising. He warns that dirty HVAC systems work like running a marathon through a straw and urges maintenance now before the heat peaks.
Wow, the first heat wave came this last week and went, and it was rough, right? It was rough outside. Um, I think— sorry, I'm on my front porch, it's a little loud. Uh, I think looking at the forecast and looking at the long term, it is probably not going to get back into the 70s very often. Uh, until the fall. So I think the summer heat is here to stay. It's something, uh, definitely to get used to. Um, the humidity hasn't really set in yet, but, um, it's been kind of pleasant evenings once the sun goes down. But I think Tuesday's like in the 70s, but that's the only day for, for a while. So, um, hopefully you're okay after the, uh, heat heat wave, the first heat wave, uh, the last couple days. Um, but you can go to simmons1hour.com if you have not had your system checked, cleaned, maintenance. That is very important because that system is fixing to run a marathon. Um, you don't want it to run a marathon with it breathing out of a straw, if that makes sense. So if your unit is dirty, not serviced, hasn't been cleaned, hasn't been checked, um, it's going to try to run a marathon of the summer while breathing through a straw. And you know, if you're running a marathon trying to take breaths out of a straw, it'd be a problem. You would not last very long. Your system is the same way. It needs to be cleaned and checked to make sure it's good to go before the heat stays in. But yeah, if y'all have any questions, go to Simmons1Hour.com. Be glad to help. Um, also is our Summer Cool Spectacular offer, which is probably about to close, uh, but you can take advantage of it while it's still available. And if you have any questions, you know, you know where to find me.
