To adjust the sound layer in Canva, first select the sound layer. In this case, it's gonna be this blue one on the bottom of my timeline here. And then I'm gonna come up to audio effects and I can do a fade in by sliding this to the right. And this is gonna fade in. You can see it's adding a little triangle, a lighter blue triangle down here on my layer. This is gonna start from silent and then over the course of, in this case, 1.6 seconds, fade up to full volume. It's going to smoothly and gradually fade up. So I can set that to however long I want. And then same thing with the fade out, I can slide this to the right to increase how long that fade out is going to happen. And what that's going to do is 3.3 seconds from the end of this clip. It's going to start from full volume and then it's going to gradually fade out until it's completely silent by the time the clip ends over here on Adjust, if I go to the Adjust tab, this is going to be what portion of this video is playing. So I can, I still have the same range selected if you see what's highlighted in purple here. But I can click on the layer and I can slide the portion that actually gets played in the video. So I'm sliding it to the right or I can slide it to the left and then I could play it and figure out the exact spot of that song that I want to display in this video. Next is Beat Sync. This is going to use AI to time the pages. The page changes with the beat of the music. This one won't be a good, good example to demonstrate that with but super cool feature and definitely try it out. And then the last one is going to be your volume and it's just the speaker icon. And you can mute the whole thing by clicking on that speaker again. This one in the top right, mute it to zero so there won't be anything heard at all. And if you have it, it's going to default to 100%. It's going to be just regular volume, but if it's too loud, it's drowning you out. You can click on that, slide it to the left, turn it down, or do the opposite, turn it up, all the way up to 400%.
