This is a YouTube video titled "Descript and Zoom Integration (how to set up)" created in August 2024. The content is a tutorial-style presentation explaining how to use the Descript software's integration with Zoom to import Zoom cloud recordings into Descript for editing. The speaker provides a step-by-step walkthrough of the process, demonstrating the import and editing features.
Descript now has an integration with Zoom so that you can automatically import your Zoom cloud recordings into descript as sequences. To do that from a blank composition, go to this import from Zoom button. Click on that, it's going to open up in your browser, Grant it permission, click Allow. And now when I click Import from Zoom, it pulls up this thing here is all of your recently recorded Zoom recordings, or really your entire library of Zoom recordings, starting with your most recent one. So here's a couple from today, and if I go back to, for example, this one and I select it and then hit Import, it automatically starts importing and it goes super quick. You can see it's already at 15% and this is importing two hour long tracks. So I'm gonna go ahead and give this a moment. And there we go. It's already brought that in. Now if I open up my timeline, I right click on that, that layer, my script layer. I say Edit sequence. You can see I have two separate layers. This has created a sequence out of my Zoom file and it's as easy as hitting that import from Zoom button. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments below.
