I want to show you something cool I've been working on. It's a descript tutor bot trained using ChatGPT4O, which at the time of this recording is the latest version of ChatGPT. When you open the chatbot it looks like this. It's a normal chat GPT window, but this one is specifically trained to answer your descript questions. I uploaded some of my resources like my SquadCast best practices checklist and my Hotkey cheat sheet, among other things to this bot and trained it on that data, plus dozens of other common problems and frequently asked questions that I see students ask. So for example, I could prompt it. I just come down here to the Chat dialogue window and I say I am a podcast creator making two hours of audio only content per month. Sometimes I have guess and it's important that my transcripts be accurate. Which descript plan should I use? And then I send it and it says for your needs as a podcast creator producing about two hours of audio content per month request requiring accurate transcripts. The descript creator plan would be the most suitable and then it tells me why. And so based on your particular needs you could ask it and it would tell you whether you need the free plan, the creator plan or the pro plan. Or I could ask it for example. This is a question I get a lot. I'm getting lots of mic bleed when recording with with two microphones. How can I fix this? And let's see what it says. Mic bleed can be a common issue in recording with multiple microphones, especially in close proximity. Here are several steps you can take to minimize mic bleed. Talks about microphone placement Talks about use of pop filters and windscreens the room acoustics Microphone isolation using noise gates Post production techniques in descript multi track editing to a separate track. You can reduce post production by editing out the parts where the other person is not speaking. And it talks about using overdub or manually editing the tracks to remove sections where mic bleed is prominent. Or I could have it walk me through learning something so I could say something like Please walk me through the process of creating templates and suggest a professional opening template for a YouTube channel about descript, let's see what it comes up with. Creating templates in descript can streamline your workflow, ensuring consistent quality and saving time. Here's a step by step guide on how to create a template. So it's telling you to do it through the new project method and scripting a template that's may or may not be relevant. If you have speaking or like a voiceover in your template, but that's one direction it's taking you. Organize your timeline, add placeholder text or clip, save as a template using the template. So there you go. That walks you through creating a template and you could do this with any other skill in description and tells you how to name it. And it's still going. I'll just give this a moment and then the last thing you could do is you could use this little button down here, this paper clip, and you could actually upload a PDF or a screenshot. Screenshot would be even better of like an error message that you get in Descript and you could say, please take a look at this error. What does this mean and how do I fix it? And then it'll walk you through that error and troubleshooting what's going on. So please check it out. I hope you find it useful. I'll leave a link in the description so that you can use this GPT chatbot for free if you are on the GPT plus membership and let me know in the comments. How does it go for you and what can I do to make this better?
