A short YouTube tutorial explaining how to add personal media files into a Descript project by dragging and dropping from the computer. The presenter demonstrates dropping media onto the transcript (at the start or into a scene) and directly onto the timeline at a chosen timestamp.
The easiest way to add your own media to your Descript project is to find it wherever it is on your computer. If it's on your desktop or in a download folder, simply drag and drop it. So click it, drag it into your Descript app, and you'll see that when I hover over something, it highlights it in blue. That's telling me where it's going to drop it. And I can drop it in any of these places. I can drop it on the transcript. I can drop it above my existing transcript. So that'll put it at the beginning of my project, when I have that blue line, this will drop it over those words. Those words. This will drop it into that scene. And you can see it highlights it on the transcript. Even when I'm hovering over the image here, I can drop it down on the timeline so I can choose a specific spot, like right here at the 32nd mark, and drop that in and you see it adds it right at that point.
