This is a YouTube video titled "Edits Squadcast Recording in Descript" containing a tutorial-style monologue explaining how to export and import recordings from SquadCast into Descript for editing, created on June 26, 2024. The content is instructional and involves a single speaker guiding through the workflow steps.
After you've finished a SquadCast recording, come back to your SquadCast dashboard. Find one of the recordings that you want to put into descript, like this one, for example. Click on that arrow to expand it. Click on the take that you want to send to descript. If you didn't start and stop your recorder, you'll only have one take Here. Hit this down arrow on the specific take you want to send. Click select all or individually select the speakers who whose tracks you want to send to descript. Then this single pop up that says Workflow. From here you'll hit Edit in descript. From here you can choose if you want to send the video, which includes the audio and visual component, or if you want to Send only the WAV file or the MP3 audio only file and then click on one to send it over to descript. It says starting Export. It'll open up a new tab. From here you choose which drive you want to put it in and which folder inside of that drive, and then hit Create Project and Import Files. It'll open up the project, and from here you edit it just like any other descript project.
