How to Fix 80% of Descript Errors (Easily)

Like any software, descript is prone to crashing. From time to time, there's errors, there's malfunctions, different bugs, and a lot of them can be resolved simply by following a couple things I'm going to show you. So one thing is if things are running slow or something's not loading, one of the first things that you can try is on Mac, come up to this window button in the top and hit reload. Or you can hit Shift Command R. On Windows, it'll be Shift Control R. And when you click it, it's just like refreshing a web page. It'll just take a moment to load and it reloads your project. Now, if that doesn't solve your issue, the next thing I would check is that you're using the latest version, check for updates, go ahead and update and restart your program if that's what's needed. If that still hasn't solved your problem, I would close out of Descript altogether, go to quit descript Control Q, close the program and reopen it. And if that's still not working, you can. The next step would be to check on descript's website if something is down. Descript uses a lot of different servers to do different functions. So for example, there's a function for the cloud, there's a server for publishing, there's a server separate server for transcriptions. So sometimes if your transcriptions aren't working, it could just be that their backend is down. And this is atstatus descript.com. and if you've tried all that, there is also help. Descript.com where you can type your your issue into here. And then one last thing to try is closing other applications on your computer. If things are running slowly or improperly, it could be other things that you have open, and the very last thing would be to turn off and restart your computer. So between these fixes, that should solve about 80% of the things that could go wrong in description.
