This is a YouTube video titled "How to Pixelate Descript Video" containing a tutorial by Alex Blumberg explaining how to apply and adjust a pixelate effect on videos using the Descript software, recorded in July 2024.
To add a pixel effect to your video, click on the video you want to apply it to. Come over to layer on the right side and under this section that says Effects, click the plus button. And right there in the middle where it says Pixelate. Click on that and you can see it now looks extremely pixelated. I can click on the effect settings back under Effects. Click on that and you can change how dramatic the effect is. So by default it's 10 points, but you can change it by sliding to the right and it gets extremely pixelated. Or you can make it less so by sliding to the left all the way down to zero, where it's back to normal.
