Quick walkthrough of Descript's Green Screen effect. Select your subject, go to Layer > Effects, enable Green Screen, and wait for processing. It works but leaves some artifacts, like black boxes where objects overlap the subject.
To remove the background of a video. In Descript, select the image on your screen that you want to remove the background for. So I'll click on this guy. I'm going to come over to layer, and then in this menu that pops out right here in the effects heading, this effects section, there's already a green screen option there, and all you got to do is toggle it on. So I'm going to do that, and then you're just going to have to give it a moment to process. It says this little notification that says applying green screen. And it's going to take a moment. So I'll meet you when it's done. And there it is. It didn't do a great job because there was something in front of the guy on the video, so it kind of made a black box in the corner, but you can see it removed the background around him and even kept a little bit of his guitar in there. If you like this video and want to go deeper, be sure to check out this one next.
