Short tutorial showing how to transcribe multiple audio/video files at once in Descript: drag-and-drop multiple files (examples: MP3s and an MP4), set speaker counts and assign speaker names for each file, and optionally combine them into a multi-track sequence. The process is described as essentially the same as transcribing a single file.
Descript lets you transcribe multiple files at once. To do that, just drag and drop your files in. So like, if I grab three of these files, for example, bring them into my project, I drag them in, I get this, the same transcription box, but I can see all three of the files that I added. So I have a mix of two MP3s here and an MP4. And then for each one of those I can choose how many files people are speaking in it. And then I can assign speaker names and I can choose to combine these three files into a multi track sequence. If you don't know what a sequence is, check out my other videos about that. But basically the process works the same as transcribing a single file. You just drag them all in together and assign speakers and click. Done. And there it is.
