Transcribing your video in descript is super easy. First of all, as you're recording descript is transcribing. So here's the video I am making right now and you'll see it is transcribing my words as I talk. That portion happens automatically. The other thing that happens automatically is if you add another video to your file. So let's say I add this video to my document. It'll prompt you for the transcription language. Again, I'm going to go with English and I just hit the transcribe button. It'll prompt me for the speaker. His name is Neil. I'll add Neil as a speaker. I hit done and I give it a minute to load and there we go. This video is automatically transcribed and if we select the words. So let's say we want to select this first clause. If you're watching this, as I highlight it, it highlights it on the timeline and I could delete it. I could make a new scene out of it and so on.
