Hey friends, good evening from Dubai and good morning, good afternoon. Whichever part of the world you are, I'm going on live. After few weeks I was traveling, I was on adventure trip. I was for went for training to India and to upgrade myself. Hope you are doing well today. Today I came across something very important article and I thought to share with you now if you are in job 9 to 5, this can change. This can be a game changer for you. So this article is from Calvin Roser and it talks about five types of salaries you get from your job. Many times we evaluate our job only based on financial games. Maybe basic, maybe perks, maybe other facilities. But in this video I'm going to share five types and then you will be able to evaluate in the right way how happy and satisfied you are on your job. And then if you want to make a change, you can decide it. So which is the first type of salary is finances. Everybody joins job to get financial compensation. That can be your basic salary, that can be your house rent allowance, that can be your incentive, annual bonus, sharing from the profit. Other perks like company car, medical vacations, children's education, all those comes under financing. Now you can definitely write down where you rate yourself in terms of 1 to 10 in this area. Any benefits you can add into that. Second one comes in psychological. Now this is very important how happy and satisfied you are going to the work. Imagine that it is weekend and tomorrow is the first day of week. Are you passionate to go to your job? Or you feel that okay again five days, four days, six days, you have to go and work. You are, you are forced to go or you feel that you are forced to go work with those bosses, work with those colleagues with whom you don't want to work doing work which you don't like to do. And many people use this word called corporate politics. Are you victim of that? So psychological salary and that includes internal and external meaning you derive from your work how satisfied you are with that. Do you get energy working in the office, mental energy? Or it is draining? Decide this. It is, Are you working on your mission? Are you working on your financial freedom? Are you building your assets? Do you have a plan, exit plan from your job? Or you want to continue lifelong? I worked with corporates till the age of 53. But at one point of time I asked myself, should I wait for 60 years and then my company tell me that, okay, tomorrow is your farewell. Everybody will gather, they will give you gift or you want to take control of your life. But find the happiness, find the Satisfaction. Are you getting your passion nurtured on the job? Are you passionate about doing what you love to do? Think about this. That is called psychological. Your connection to your mission, product, work you produce. Are you serious, satisfied with what you are producing? See, you get salary based on value you add, based on services you give, based on profit you make for company. All those things. Are you satisfied or you just feel that you are just going from nine to five coming back to home, going again next day and then weekend and then vacations. Is this that way praise you receive? Definitely. When you are working well and will receive praise, you will be recognized how you are going through that. So then comes is third one. Third one is social salary. Social salary means you are growing in your position. You are getting recognized, you are getting promoted, you are getting more responsibility. How it is prestige, title, identity, capital. Are you creating new identity? If I go back to my 30 years of corporate life, I started my journey as a. You can say apprentice or trainee. By the time I left my job, I was executive director at reasonably good level earning handsome salary. So I built that social capital. It was in my hand I worked on me. That helped me to build that social capital. If I can do it, you can do it. So third one is social salary. Are you getting that or you are feeling stuck? The time you have joined, you have hardly grown one or two step and then you are feeling yourself victim of corporate politics. Is this the case? Think about this social salary. Then fourth one is education. Now this is very important. Are you growing? Are you growing mentally? Are you growing emotionally, intellectually? Are you becoming better person? If you are not growing, you are dying. This is what my mentor Bob Proctor says that if you are not growing every day, you are dying. Are you investing in you while working on the job that will decide your future? I made a decision but at very late age. But when I have decided to invest in me. Learn about the product, learn about the client, learn about the sales, Learn about the corporate values. Learn about the changes required, changes in company, changes in me helping team to grow. Are you doing that? And that can only happen when you are working on your mind. You are investing in yourself, education, salary. Are you getting this skill, relationship and learning that contribute to your development as a person and profession. It is a 2 growth like see both goes parallel. You are growing professionally, you are going personally also. Are you building those assets? Are you building your passive income? Or your thoughts and circumstances are controlled by external conditions. Maybe economy, maybe ups and downs. May be your industries changes. Are you worried about that when you are investing in yourself, in education, you will not worry about that. So that is the fourth type. And then fifth one is freedom. Do you have freedom to work wherever you are or you have lot of restrictions? Many people, many bosses, I have seen that they are restrictive, they don't allow people to grow. Do you feel that way now? If I ask you, do you feel that ownership mentality where you work or you feel that okay, you are just an employee 9 to 5, your job is to go contribute the time, get the salary or it is a rat race how you feel. Now these are the five type of salary. Financial, psychological, social, education and freedom. If I want you to rate yourself from 1 to 10 in each areas where you see yourself and then you can evaluate it. See many times people compare that okay, I'm not being paid because they compare themselves with others even though they are not adding that much value which other person is adding. But they don't get into this. I want you to look into this. Are you adding value? All these five areas where you rate yourself and wherever you feel that rating is low, you can start working on it. Build your financial freedom, build your assets, build your passive income. I don't see you will be immunity free, but you can at least build your own economy either you are depending on job. If something happens, think about that. Think about these five salaries, where you stay yourself, where you find yourself and work on it. That's all. Now when I understood this article, but when I connect my dots in reverse, what I did, it works. These five areas, I can feel that yes, I was unconsciously and consciously working on these five areas which helped me to grow, which helped me to build my financial freedom, which helped me to build my dreams and which helped me to have freedom of choices. If I can do it, you can do it. It is just matter of taking help. Thinking differently now. If this is something new to you and you want help, there is a link in this post book a discovery call with me. I will ask you few questions but that discovery call will be a game changer for you. Thank you and have a great day. Great life, great year ahead.
