In this frugal‑fashion tutorial, the host demonstrates how to restore a pair of scuffed brown winter boots using inexpensive shoe polish and a microfiber rag. He explains that the boots become discolored from salt and wear, and shows a before‑and‑after where the white spots disappear and the boots look nearly new. The entire process costs about $3.50 for the polish (with an additional 10 % discount via the Cartwheel app) and a simple rag, saving the viewer potentially hundreds of dollars compared to buying a new pair. The video walks through the materials, the polishing steps, drying time, and the final result, ending with a reminder to check back for more frugal fashion tips.

Hey all my frugal fashionistas and gentlemen, um, so what I wanted to do today is show you what I do every year to revive and save a little bit of money on purchasing new boots since it's wintertime, which means boot season. So what I wanted to show you today is how I'm actually going to polish a pair of old boots, which are one of my favorite pair of brown boots, bring them back to life, which will save me probably a couple hundred dollars on having to purchase another pair of brown boots this year. So let me show you. Okay, so this is one of my favorite pairs of brown boots. As you can see, they are pretty scuffed up in the front, they're scuffed up in the back, on the, on the sides. And actually, a lot of this stuff just comes from the salt that they put down for when it snows. Or even right here, this comes from me driving. So what I did is I've actually already done one boot. Just to— so this is what the boot actually looks like after. Now, as you can see, all the white spots are gone. They're all one color. Um, they look practically brand new again. So in order to do this, all you need is shoe polish. So I ended up paying like, I think it was like $3.50 for this shoe polish from Target. Um, and then I used my Cartwheel app and got an extra 10% off. And this is just like a microfiber, um, rag. And that's it. And basically you put something down on the counter. As you can see, there's like tidbits from the, from the polish there. But sit and let them dry, and there you go, you have some brand new boots. So hopefully this will help save you some money on buying new boots, and you can kind of bring back your old favorite boots to life.
