Hey, it's Dominique Broadway, and I wanna catch you up on all the news that you missed so far this week in the stock market. First up is Bitcoin. As y'all have probably seen, all crypto in general has just been rising, but Bitcoin specifically crossed over $99,000 a coin today and is continuing to rise. But the exciting thing about Bitcoin is that option trading has just been announced on Bitcoin. Specifically, the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF launched, I believe today, ticker symbol IBIT. So now you can purchase options on Bitcoin. So exciting. Now let's get into some of these earnings. This has been a really big, heavy retail week. First up, we have Walmart. Walmart announced their earnings. They did amazing, but it only caused their stock to jump up a little over 2%. Target, on the flip side, did not do as well. Um, they also expressed a very bleak outlook for the holiday season, and their stock fell very sharply, 21%. Not a good time, okay. Now Gap, on the other hand, announced their earnings and they basically said that the holiday shopping is off to a good start and their stock is actually up 19% today. I— Gap always surprises me, okay. And then Nvidia, who is clearly the golden child of the year, but all eyes were on Nvidia this week. Like, what are they gonna do? Are they gonna rise sharply? Are they gonna fall? Well, let me tell you what happened. So they announced their earnings and they basically said that their revenue doubled. Yay, shout out to them as an investor. But their stock took this huge dip down and then it started to rise back up, and then all day long it just kind of did this thing going up maybe about $2, $3 a share and then falling back down. Basically it ended up being almost like 36 cents, up about 36 cents a share. So it wasn't a huge move today, it was really just more of an unnecessarily stressful day for traders. Okay, um, next we have Tesla. Tesla didn't do anything major this week. I just want to highlight the fact that like this new president we have. Anyway, stocks have been up, crypto's been up, but specifically Tesla. Now that he's in the government, his stock is up $122 just in the past month. Yo, that's crazy. Okay, so tell me below what stocks you own and what stocks you profited from just this week. And for more news that you can use and to actually learn how to start investing in these companies, comment below. But also tell me, what do you own? What did you make money with? See you soon.
