High-net-worth people don't think differently about money because they're smarter. They think they'll get rich, period. Most people quit their resolutions by February because they doubt it will happen. Reprogram your certainty about money, not just your goals.
Chapters
It's January 1st, and yes, you have been setting financial goals again. Want to know why this year will be different or why it won't be? So be honest, how many times have you set the same money goals? 2023, this year I'm finally investing. 2024, this year I'm finally investing. 2025, this year I'm finally— you know, stop me if this sounds familiar. But here's what I learned in managing millions for high net worth clients, ultra wealthy clients. They weren't smarter. Than you. No, they didn't want it more. They didn't have some secret strategy that you don't know. They had one thing you don't, and that's certainty. Not confidence, certainty. They never questioned if they would be wealthy, only when and how much. Meanwhile, you're sitting here thinking, maybe I'll invest if I have enough, if the market's right, if I understand it better. That's not a plan. Okay, that is a wish, and wishes don't build wealth. Decisions do. The Science of Getting Rich says getting rich is the result of doing things in a certain way, not a complicated way, a certain way. Certainty is a mindset, and mindset is everything. Your 2026 doesn't change until your mind does. So while everyone else is setting goals, they'll abandon them by February. So come reprogram your entire relationship with money on January 6th, because new year, new goals, but same thinking is going to give you the same results.
