Short motivational YouTube monologue by Adam Houlahan arguing that giving back is central to success. He cites his work with B1G1 and Web Traffic That Works (claiming over one million impacts) as evidence, frames "giving" as one of three global super factors shaping humanity's future, and promotes his November speaking engagement at the Global Accelerated Business School in Phuket.
I used to think that the only thing that mattered when it came to me being successful was me. Whatever I achieved was the definition of how successful my life was. I had a saying I often quoted, which was, if it is to be, it's up to me. But now I've turned my back on that perspective because I believe giving is the key to success. The more people you can help, the more we all can succeed. Now, through my work with B1G1, web traffic that Works has already created over a million impacts, and we're just getting started. There are so many ways we can impact beyond just our work and how successful we are, if only we know where to look. The idea of giving back to a world that is crying out for help is one of the three global super factors that are going to shape our future as a species. I know it's a big claim, but this one's for the big thinkers. Now I'll be speaking at the Global Accelerated Business School in November, a conference that educates you on the three global super factors and gives you the tools to shape the future of the planet we live on. I'm incredibly excited to share what I've learned and how you can use LinkedIn and other initiatives to have a positive success in in your business.
