A short first-person reflection by Chunyi Lin about 19 years running Spring Forest Qigong in the United States. He identifies his biggest business mistake—lacking confidence to manage his own company and delegating leadership to others—then describes regaining confidence, taking over leadership, and turning the company profitable.
Okay. My name is Chun Yilin and I am doing qigong. I have a company called Spring Forest Qigong. The website is springforest qigong.com the things I learned about my business is over this 19 years doing qigong in the United States I went through a lot. One thing I really learned about how to operate a business and I learned from my mistakes. The biggest mistake I learned was I did not have confidence to manage my own company. I believe that people in the United States, they know business more than I do. So very often I gave this part to other people to help me to manage my business until I found out this is not the real thing. I mean the right thing to do. So the last couple years I gained back my confidence. I took over the leadership and then I turned the company around and now it's a profitable and so I am managing the company and now I know what I do. I know what I am going to do in the future. So things just are so fabulous. That's it.
