Happy for No Reason; Love for No Reason; Chicken Soup for the Woman's Soul
Hi, I'm Marci Schaimoff. I'm the author of the New York Times best sellers Happy for no Reason, Love for no Reason and Chicken Soup for the Woman's Soul. And a featured teacher in the Secret. And My URL is www.happyfornoreason.com. and I think the biggest mistake that I have made in business and in life is not believing in myself enough, is living many, many years with self doubt. And you know, I know that this is a process of something that requires just a lot of deep self love, compassion and clarity about what our real value is here. And for me, you know, I know that a lot of women in particular really share in that issue of not feeling their value and not feeling worthy enough or not feeling good enough. And the way that that has benefited me is that I have become a champion for that, for myself and now for other women. It's really forced me to find ways that I could look inside and find where my value is, my unconditional self love. You know, I wrote this book called Love for no Reason, which is about how to experience an inner state of love that doesn't depend on our circumstances and self. Love is the same way as how to develop an inner feeling of love for ourselves that doesn't depend on our circumstances. That's not about whether we make mistakes or whether we're perfect, whether we look exactly how we want to look or not. It's about unconditional self regard. I love myself no matter what. And as that may sound a bit corny, but it's very, very real. And when I came to own that and really experience that, not only did I have greater success in business, but it was a whole lot more fun too.
