A first-person day-in-the-life vlog by Dr. Ashley Lucas describing her typical daily schedule: morning meditation and gratitude, helping her homeschooled son, quick breakfast and hydration, brief sun exposure, preparing for ~9:30 meetings and syncing with her assistant, supporting her team/initiative (“PhD and Dr. Ashley Wellness”), fitting in a quick lunch and home workout, creating interviews/podcasts/YouTube content when not meeting, and evening family planning and dinner coordination with her husband.

I used to get up really early in the morning and force myself to get out of bed, but over the last few months I've given myself, with the help of my husband, the grace to get up later. The first thing I do is meditate for at least a few minutes and always think about what I'm grateful for. I usually end up helping my son who's homeschooled with his morning routine, but my goal is to grab a quick bite of food to support my metabolism, fill my water bottle for a full day of work ahead and grab a cup of tea prior to my first meeting. I try my best to get outside and see the sun for at least a few minutes before day starts. My first meeting usually starts around 99 30, so I get to my desk and make sure I'm prepared for any meetings. I didn't have time to prepare for the previous day and I usually meet with my amazing assistant first thing and we sync to see how she can help me get everything done. I'm usually in meetings during this time to support PhD and Dr. Ashley Wellness as we work to create new and even better ways to support our team and our clients. I usually grab a very quick lunch and do my best to get a workout in that's downstairs in the house and if it's not a meeting day then this is when I do interviews or create YouTube episodes, podcast content or the videos you're watching now. I prep and plan for tomorrow. Hello multitasking dinner time with whoever is home. My husband and I connect to make sure we have everything we need and that the kids are all ready to go for the next day.
