More exercise is not always better, especially if it spikes stress and cravings. So this brings me to the one visceral fat factor people ignore because it's not food and it's not workouts. It's about what you do at night. Visceral belly fat loves two things, number one high insulin and number two high stress hormones, especially cortisol. Nothing spikes cortisol more than poor sleep. So for the next 14 days focus on cooling the room, darkening your room, use blackout curtains, avoid scrolling in bed on your phone and then keep consistent sleep and wake times even over the weekend. Oftentimes we don't think that it has this high level of importance. We think it's all about calories in and calories out.
