Dr. Ashley Lucas narrates how she built PhD Weight Loss, starting from a 750-square-foot office where she handled every role, expanding over successive years into multiple brick-and-mortar locations and a nationwide at-home program. Key milestones: first expansion to a larger office and a five-person team serving ~100 clients weekly; opening additional locations and teams while personally overseeing first visits; moving across the country late in pregnancy (36 weeks), giving birth January 2 and reopening a new location three months later; pivoting during COVID to scale an at-home program that reached every U.S. state; eventual growth to six locations, a ~60-person team, and serving over 12,000 clients with reported weight loss totaling over £480,000.

This is the story of how I built PhD weight loss from a 750 square foot office into multiple brick and mortars and a nationwide at home program.
@ first it was me alone doing all roles from receptionist to sales team to nutritionist. I had my cell phone number as the call to action on all ads including radio spots. One year later I moved into a larger office space and had a team of five. We were helping at least 100 clients weekly. They were dropping massive weight with the protocol I had created. I was still seeing single client. One year later I opened another location and hired another team of four. I had a great team and was still managing both offices. They were about an hour apart from each other and I was still seeing every single client for their first visit and beyond in at least one of the offices.
One and a half years later I.
Moved across the country when I was 36 weeks pregnant with my third child. My daughter continued to manage my other locations, signed a lease on a new location, did the build out, had my baby January 2nd and opened that location three months later with a new another team of four. One year later I pivoted during COVID to all three locations doing at home care which massively expanded our nationwide at home program. I also opened our fourth location and we hired another team of amazing people. One year later another location and another PhD team was born. Our nationwide at home program exploded in growth and we served clients in every state. At this point, I'm finding myself leading our teams and programming instead of clients directly.
Fast forward a few years.
We opened one more location. Our sixth we have a team of 60amazing people who create massive transformation in people's lives and PhD weight loss has become a national program where we've helped over 12,000 people lose more than £480,000.
